It had been nearly a year. Tom Blair had set off with Hermoine Granger on a mission of revenge. Many at Hogwarts had wondered where they had gone. Along the way, he had parted ways with his companion. Many things had happened on that journey, but now it was over.
The lake was peaceful that day, but some of them heard a loud CRACK in front of the gates of Hogwarts. Someone had apparated in. A blond boy, his clothes torn and ragged, wand clutched in his hand, staggered in the gates and almost blindly toward the lake. Finally he collapsed onto the grass, feet in the water. He was consious, he just needed to relax on Hogwarts grounds while he recovered his strength to decide his next move. But Tom Blair had returned.

Rhyannon Thurman came out of the gate and sat down behind her favorite tree and brought a notebook and a thing that muggles call a pen out with her.She was write on her book.She turned her head to look across the lake when she saw some one in front of the lake with their feet in the lake.She looked over and smiled."Afternoon."She said smiling and continued writing.
Rhyannon looked up and then started to write again.This is how far she got:
Isabelle had finally calmed down.She stood turned to cook and said."Oops,"has she said that she ran out of the cabin toward Crystal."Crystal.Crystal!"She said coming up behind her.Crystal heard and she stopped."I am sorry."Isabelle apologized.Crystal smiled and hugged her.They went down the hallway and when they came to the stairs,Crystal turned to Isabelle."I wonder what my moth-."She stopped because she just colliaded with a boy.She looked up and said."Oh I am sorry."She smiled and looked up."Dominic?"She asked.He looked down.Running into a 6' foot boy is not easy when youy are only 5'9.He grabbed her shoulder to make sure she didn't fall and then he looked down."Crystal?"He asked.She nodded and then he nodded and then she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him."My god,where have you been?"she asked.Still hugging him.
And then she stopped and looked back up."Rough day?"She asked.

Tom was a bit startled by the sudden appearance of the girl. He didn't recognize her - maybe she transfered from somewhere, or maybe he just hadn't noticed her before. He groaned, "Tough year actually." His clothes were ragged and torn, there was a bit of both dirt and blood on them. He flicked his wand at himself saying "Reparo," and they mended themselves. But he was still bleeding a little underneath. He wasn't great at healing spells, so he just rubbed the worst cut and left it at that.
After a moment he looked up and said, "What's your name? I'm Tom Blair." He held up his hand to shake.

Rhyannon looked up and smiled from her writing."Rhyannon Thurman,"She smiled and shook his hand."I don't talk to people a lot."she smiled"You proabably haven't seen me that much this year.My writing keeps me up alot."She smiled and said."I am a writer,singer and reader mostly."She smiled again.

"That's cool. I don't really write much, except in whatever homework I actually complete." He looked up at her and continued, "Say, have you seen a fifth year Gryffindor named Hermione Granger around here? Bushy brown hair, a little distracted. We were travelling and we ... split up. I hope she's ok..."

"Um,no."She said looking down on her work."I got in kind of late last night,"She said looking up."If their was light in the Dormatory I would've probabaly seen her."She said then going back down to her work.she fliped over the paper and drew something.And then she put it in her pocket.She smiled and put her head against the tree and closed her eyes feeling the breeze against her hair that she just got blonde highlights in before school started.

Tom looked down at the water when Rhy replied. Where could Hermione be? Still out on the hunt? He really hoped she hadn't been killed, but there was no way for him to find her.
"So what's Hogwarts like these days?" he asked finally. "Is that powerhungry git Potterslouth still around?" Tom watched a dragonfly wizz by and thought that might be Potterslouth spying on him, so he sent weak stunning spell at it. It dropped into the lake and sizzled. Nah, that wasn't him. Darn.

"Let's just say a lot has changed since you've been gone." Tifa had been nearby when she heard voices she couldn't help but to find out who it was.
"It's been a while hasn't it Tom." she said a smile gracing her lips.
"But most importantly what happened to you?" she asked him pulling her wand surveying his injuries.
"May I?" she asked pointing to a few of his wounds.

"If you know what you're doing," he replied, looking up at the newcomer. As she started healing the cuts and bruises, he said, "Hermione and I have been on a mission to...to find the people who killed our parents. It...well let's just say it didn't end well." It was clear he didn't want to go into the whole story right now. "So what's changed around here? Spencer taken over the school yet? Hells still arguing with Wolfsbane every other minute?"

Rhyannon stood and left she wasn't ready to meet Tifa.She already heard about her from Dominic and was not ready to face her.IT wouldn't feel right to her.So she stood and walked back to the edge of the lake and summonded her broom.It came flying toward her and she caught it and jump on.She smiled and thought,"That was the best catch yet I have accomplished."She kicked off of the ground and flew around the lake a few times and then she just flew it over to the Pitch were she could practice for when try-outs came.

Tifa raised a brow at the girls departure and only shrugged her shoulders. "What happened to you?" she asked curiously. "And where is Hermione?" she wondered out loud looking around for bushy hair. (when I meant a lot has changed I mean a lot really did cause this is aerise and spencer is known as Alfred, just a small heads up  ) |

((Holy snap...how did Spency get to be Alfred? Is he still all powerful and stuff? Still an "allimagus"?))
"Got whooped on by a few of the Death Eaters I was hunting," Tom replied. "Took a couple of them down then escaped. I wish I knew where Hermoine is. We had a...disagreement along the way and split up. I haven't seen her since. Was hoping she made it back here but it seems she didn't."
Tom had been away a long time and Tifa looked a bit different than she had before, but now finally he rememmbered her. She had been one of the girls competing with Hermoine to go out with him. He hadn't been interested in getting a girlfriend, though - had way too much on his mind to think about that kind of thing.
"You look different, Tifa," he added.
((I'm just making it so you were always Tifa and not Aerise. BTW why did you and Spencer change your names?))

(Honestly there was a point in time where he left, I myself have left as well for a while my friend just brought it up so I just went on.)
"That a lot of excitement, but I haven't seen Hermione in a long time I was expecting her to be with you." she said in a slightly worried tone
"But she's a brilliant witch so she'll be alright!" she said a smile re-forming on her lips reassuring herself that Hermione is still safe out there.
"Yes I daresay I have changed, is it a good one or a bad one" she asked with a grin.
"You yourself have changed, but I can still see the same guy."
"Now to more important questions, did you fulfill your goal?" she asked curiosity overwhelming her.
(I don't know why he did, but I did cause I just like it better)

"Just different," he replied to her first question. Then at her second question he paused, then said, "A bit. I picked off a few of the Death Eaters I was hunting. A lot happened, it's a long story. After a while I got sick of the revenge buisness and decided to try to find something else to do with my life." Then after a moment he asked, "Is the Order of the Phoenix still alive and kicking?"

She sighed and shrugged.
"I wouldn't know seeing as how I just arrived myself a few minutes before you." she said. Tifa looked at Tom and grinned.
"But lets talk about that later, honestly when was the last time you had a decent meal?" she asked him.
"All this talk about the order and..." she froze for a second her eyes glazed for a second remembering the past before smiling again.
"Alfred, isn't important at the moment, first lets get inside and get you some new robes, I'm sure some of the house elves would be more than willing to help." she said grinning and turning towards the castle.
"I'll fill you in on everything I know inside."
