Dru was slightly surprised, she knew that Nic and Tifa had been really close, had been really good together, but didn't show it, it wasn't the time to bring that kind of thing up. "I'm glad to have met you," she said, looking up at Rhyannon, smiling.

Rhy held Dominic's hand smiling slightly.Her cheeks were still a little tear stained but barely noticedable."I still wish there was something I could have done to help."She said looking at them both.She turned her hand a little and she faced Dominic.She smiled and she gave his hand a light sqeeze.

Dominic gave a small smile, "I know, but there's not much that could be done." He didn't comment on the fact it looked as though she had been crying, not wanting to cause more tears so early. The catch in his throat was gone for the moment, and he hoped it would stay away. "Dru, will you make sure to send a letter back home?" he asked softly, looking back at her. He had sent one telling them it was going to happen, but he wanted them to know when it actually did.

Dru nodded, biting her lip and looking down, her eyes closed. It would probably be one of the hardest letters she would ever write. "I'll be sure to," she said in a broken voice. She could feel the tears collecting in her eyes and she stood, "I'll be right back," she said as she walked quickly towards her office, wiping her eyes as she went.

"As I said earlier I will just help make it has painless as humanly possible."She said and she took her hand out of his and she used it to trace his face."thats al I really hope is that it doesn't pain you to...d-d leave."she studdered on the one word she dreated.Rhy smiled and she looked around and she saw a chair she grabbed it and she sat down lightly.Rhyannon nodded and she watched Dru go.

Dominic watched Dru, concern etched into his face, when she was in the office, he looked back at Rhy, "I don't think it'll hurt, don't worry about that, ok?" He sighed, wishing Dru hadn't left, but glad he wasn't seeing her cry. He lay down on the bed again, tired as usual.

In the office, Dru leaned her head against the wall, trying to focus on anything but the burning in her eyes and the catch in her throat. Why? Why did it have to happen? He meant so much to her. After a few moments, she sighed, wiped her eyes once more, and walked back out only to see that he had lay down. She quickly walked back up to him, taking his hand, "Are you ok?" she asked, watching him.

Rhy sighed and she slipped her hand into his hand that was next to her."he gets tried really easy."she said watching him.She moved her thumb up and down absantmindly."I will really miss him."She thought.

Dominic turned up the corner of his mouth in a small smile for Dru, "Yes, just tired, like she said." He was so glad for the two of them to be there with him. He could see Dru's eyelashes were still wet, and it hurt him to know he was causing the both of them such pain. "I'm sorry," he said, looking between them, "I wish you two didn't have to deal with this."

"Don't," Dru said, watching his face, "It's nothing for you to worry about." She tried a smile, but it failed miserably. She glanced up at the other girl, she could tell that Rhyannon felt a lot for Nic. Her mind went back to old memories of good times back home, one in particular brought a true smile to her face.

Dominic squeezed Rhy's hand lightly, as much as he could, and then looked at Dru questioningly, "You've not smiled like that since I got here." He wondered what had crossed her mind to make her smile so truly.

"Yeah," Dru said, laughing lightly, "Just remembering that one time someone," she gave him a look, "Slipped a love potion into Chris' drink." It had been a very interesting day.

Rhyannon smiled just imagaining it.Her eyes started to glisten again and she tried to hold them back but couldn't.She put on a brave smile and she stood.She put her hand on top of Dominic's and she said."I will be right back."She said and she slipped her hand out of his relcutantly.She went to the outside of the Hospital wing and she leaned against the wall and she sild down and she pulled her knees close and she let the tears fall silently.They streamed wether she wanted them to or not.

Dominic smiled at the memory, "Yes, I remember," he said, "You were so mad at me." He watched Rhy leave sadly. He closed his eyes and sighed, "I hope she'll be alright," he said softly.
