This is one thing he did not miss about being at school. The homework. He was walking between the isles, with a note in hand searching for several books he needed for his latest homework. After leaving his previous school he was out free for three months. before starting a new one. This one. He carried the load he collected to a table in a far corner. Even though there weren't too many people at the library he felt like he could concentrate better off there.

Dru had her head down as she walked through the library. A leather bound book was open across her hands and her lips moved quickly as she reread her latest chapter. Ideas rushed through her head and she headed towards her normal spot, she felt like writing a death scene but it wasn't quite the time for one. She had went through the library faster than she thought and ran into the edge of a table. She jerked her head up to see a boy sitting at her table and a book sliding off because of her running into it. "Oh! I'm sorry," she said, laying her book on the table and picking up the one on the floor. "I wasn't looking..."

"No problem" Horus smiled up at the girl. She had an expression on her face, the more he looked at her and the more he tried to think what it reminded him of the less he understood. "That book must be fascinating" he jokes.

"Um.." she smiled shyly, she generally didn't talk about her story, and looked down at the book, "Well, actually, it's a story," Dru couldn't bring herself to call it a book, "That I've been working on for about a year." She sat down and closed the book, running her finger along the etchings in the leather, "I've been trying to think up my next scene."

"Oh" he looked at the book as she ran a finger along the leather. "Is it a private story or will you let people read it when it is finished?" He looked up at her "Cause I would love to read it." he smiled at her "I'm Horus by the way" he put out his hand to shake.

Dru took his hand, though not as firmly as she had at one time, "Dru. Nice to meet you." She smiled, "I dunno, it's about witches and vampires, from a muggle's perspective. I've let a couple of people read it though, so if you want to..." she shrugged, "Why not?"

"Excellent!" he beamed at her "Let me know when it's finished. I don't like reading unfinished work, or let others read my unfinished work. From experience it never brought good luck. About vampires and witches from a muggle point of view you say? I'm intrigued already"

Dru smiled, "If I hadn't let others read it it would've never gotten this far. I've got one friend who goes all evil on me if I don't write fast enough," she said, laughing softly. "I read alot during the summer from muggle libraries so, yeah. You write?" she asked.

"I used to. Short stories. I'm not really sure why I stopped, but I just did a couple years ago. Now I mostly just read" he smiled as he looked down at his homework "and do homework. I guess I should really get back to this" he sighed.

"Oh, I didn't mean to keep you," Dru said, "Do you want me to go?" she asked and reached for her slingbag and book. I could always go to the room of requirement.. she thought, then crossed that idea off, he liked to be in that room. Well, there's always the common room.

"No. I didn't mean it like that. You don't have to go. I'm just whining"

"Ok," she gave a small smile, "What exactly are you having to do?" She looked at the stack of books on the table.

(I have no idea, I haven't attended any classes yet. Lets pretend) "It's Care of Magical creatures. I've asked the Professor for an additional list of books on similar creatures for my personal understanding of the subject. You see, I'm only a good student when I feel the subject, when I'm actually interested. This is to help. Cause Magical Creatures is a real bore"

"Really? I only take a couple of classes, ones I really like. I do a lot of independant study though," she grinned, "Typical ravenclaw, huh?"

"Yeah, typical" He said, giving her a slight smile. He was starting to get hopeless of finding anyone, even one someone at the school who wasn't going by house stereotype. People label them and then they spend the rest of their lives trying to live into it. Is it Pride? Is it society?
