It was a lovely Saturday afternoon. The sun flowed in through the arched windows of the corridor walls casting soft light in shadows across the walls and floor and across the girl standing against the wall her shoulders and back against the cool stone, her white sheaf dress with its lavender ribbons in contrast with the gray stones. Gwenhwyfar's eyes looked out the window and she smiled, life was just about perfect. A hand went up and spun a strand of blond hair around her finger.

Gabby was daydreaming. She wandered up and down the corridors not noticing anything. That was true until she saw a stranger in the corridor ahead. Gabby snapped out of her day dream and focused on the new girl. She walked towards her. "Hi, I'm Gabby." She started a friendly smile on her face. "Are you new here? I don't recognise you?"

Storm felt lighter to day, not happy, but lifted, she was in her own world, it wasn't happy or far from happy. She didn't realize the people in front of her but one voice had wiped the smile off her face, and replaced it with a smirk.
"Ah if it isn't little dolly." she teased, she was in the mood for getting back at her for what she did to Vannah. She turned her eyes to the other girl and felt sick to her stomach.
'Optimistic, bubbly, and Naive, how gruesome' she thought to herself with a cringe. They were three traits she despised in people.

Gwenhwyfar smiled brightly at both the other girls, "Hey I'm Gwenhwyfar, but if you don't like it you can call me anything you want you know. And yes my parents just switched me over to her and I've fallen in love with it already, its just so perfect and stuff." She smiled at the other arrival "how are you both doing." She so hoped they were having a good day, it would be just hideous if they weren't, and from the second girls tone she wasn't quite sure.

"Oh joy, an optimist." she confirmed sarcastically out loud. Now she knew she was the total optimist of this girl.
"Thats great." she said sarcastically again in response to the girl views on the school. She was being rude, but she really didn't want to be making friends with happy Gwenhwyfar... or Gwen.

Gwenhwyfar's face fell, "Oh so you don't like it, well I'm sure it will get better...right...right? Like it all depends on what your doing, I'm sure you'll have a great time if you let yourself." She didn't know what was wrong with the other girl that she had to be so well dark and stuff. It was so sad she almost felt like crying and it showed on her face.

Storm rolled her eyes this girl was definitely naive now she had to check to see if she was bubbly for sure, though she was sure Gwen was.
"Does it matter." she said mockingly turning away from Gabby so she could fully see the girl. Storm and Gwen were completely different. Storms hair was jet black streaked with red, while Gwen’s was blond. Her eyes were light and happy Storm cold, grey, and distant. Even what they wore was different, Gwen’s was light, Storm was in a dark red corset and dark black pants and her velvet black cloak fastened around her neck. Complete opposites.

Gabby just watched what was happening in front of her. Gwen was being well, Gwen and Storm was behaving exactly as she knew she would. A thought crossed Gabby's mind. She turned to Storm. "Look, Storm," she started, "I know we didn't exactly get on when we first met. I'm sorry about what I've done and said, to you or anyone of your friends. I just hate being thought of as a little girl, and I make sure people know it. So can we wipe the slate clean?" Gabby hoped that Storm would accept she couldn't bear fighting with people.

Storms lips twitched into a smile then a cruel laugh.
"See, the thing is, you did do something to my friend, you are a little girl whether you like it or not, and I don't believe in 'forgive and forget'." she said shaking her head from side to side.
"It's hard to get my trust, and if you blow it once, it's hard to get a second chance, and I'm not in the mood to play nice with anyone." she said glaring at the little girl, she wasn't sure where the prejudice was coming from, but she was relieving herself on all negativity on Gabby, and it felt good... but empty.

This was bad, not just bad tragic. Gwenhwyfar almost felt crushed and it wasn't even her that the other girl was attacking. But then her mind started wondering what had gone wrong in the other girls life to make her like this and then all Gwenhwyfar really wanted was to fix everything, maybe she just needed people to be nice to her and care, that had to be it and with that thought she was able to bounce back, things would get better.
She smiled at both of them, "Come on, lets do something. All three of us, it will be lots of fun and stuff." And she was sure that if she could get the other two girls' minds off of whatever had happened before between them that it would be.

Gabby smiled at the eagerness of Gwen, contrary to Storm's opinion, Gabby found it refreshing to talk to someone who was not depressed and embittered by something. "I would love it, it would be great to get to know you better." Gabby replied to Gwen's offer.

Storm laughed again, this time it was mocking.
"Silly girl, I would rather be buried alive then spend a day with you two, dolly there might pull a wand on me, and I don't think I would be able to restrain myself from sending a few dark curses her way." she said as if Gabby wasn't even there.
'Too mean Storm calm down a bit' the rationale side of her said, but she just pushed that part away, her darker side was dominating her at this moment.

The smile dropped for just a moment and Gwenhwyfar's shoulders sagged, no you can't give up now, she raised her eyes to meet Storm's they were still sparkling though now part of it was from a few unshed tears and yet she still smiled "Come on please, Gabby promised that no wands will be pulled...Right Gabby." She looked back pleadingly before turning back to Storm, she really wanted this to work out.

Gabby sighed, by Gwen's insistence Storm was just going to get even more angry. "I promise that I won't pull my wand on anyone." Gabby said. She avoided making eye contact with Storm and just knew it was a matter of time before she walked off.

Storm just sighed and shook her head.
"Maybe, but I can't make that promise." she sneered, but oddly she would go although her motives were different.
"Fine I'll go, if I don't like it, then I'm leaving." she said putting on a forced smile.
