Chase stood just inside an empty corridor that opened up onto a main path through the castle. He leaned back against the stone wall, watching people pass, his eyes more brown than red at the moment, dark and brooding. Another school, he lamented. His dad had been transferred, so here he was, a stranger again. It figured. He was used to being on the outside looking in.
Chase's fingers strayed against the handle of his wand, hidden in his pocket, and his lips curved. He wondered if it wouldn't be worth the effort of starting some trouble.

Storm strode around the school her wand hand gripping her wand inside her robes she looked around at the hall people seemed to be content and peaceful she scowled slightly at the thought and made her way to the furthest walk pulling out a leather bound book and scanning the contents before throwing it back in her bag she saw a first year who was walking close to her he seemed to be looking for something, she pulled out her wand and pointed it at his shoes and watched as they tied themselves together. The act had a domino effect and watched as the boy fell onto someone else and onto the next, she laughed at the three on the floor and looked up to a guy who was leaning against the wall, she sent him a questioning look as he seemed to be watching people intently.

Chase raised his eyebrows, a challenge to the girl who'd noticed him, and a silent declaration that he'd seen what she did. He didn't smile, but he didn't look disapproving either. Entertainment was entertainment, in his book. And to think, he hadn't even had to do the dirty work. Chase's lips finally curved into a smirk at that thought, and he let the mischief reach his red-brown eyes as he looked at the girl, daring her to approach him.

Strom looked back at him a brow raised before a smirk had found its way to her face. She noticed his dare and almost wanted to laugh she watched as the students scrambled to their feet the first year looking around for the source and she sent him a glare making him run away in the opposite direction. She slowly made her way closer to him making sure to push poepl as she walked and stopped shortly infront of him. "It's tempting to watch those fall before you, amusing as well." she said drawing herself to her full height her grey eyes boring into his brown ones.

"Mmmhmm, and such a challenge to take down a first-year," Chase replied. His voice held more than a hint of mocking. "When you get bored of that, you might try something that needs a bit more effort." Chase's words were an addition to the challenge his gaze had been only moments before, but it was up to the girl to decide what that challenge was.

Storm seemed to understand his meaning and smirked. She spun on her heel and called out to a 5th year and marched up to her pretending to act innocent. She pointed at one of the spell books in the girls hand and accepted it it studying the girls look of confusion. Storm dropped it to the floor and watched as the girl picked up to retrieve it she pointed her wand at the girl. “Furnunculus.” she hissed under her breath and enjoying the look of pure pain as boils erupted from the 5th years skin, the girl seemed to want to send a spell flying back at her, but couldn’t. Storm watched the girl run away towards the hospital wing a look of amusement on her face. She turned back to the boy and smirked. “Honestly people these days are pathetic, I don’t think there is much of a challenge these days.” she said she seemed to be imagining the look on the girls face.

"An unsuspecting victim," Chase mused. "Almost as impressive as tripping a first-year." He shook his head slightly. He wasn't impressed in the least. However, his sarcasm had missed her once, so why not once more? He decided to play with her a little, like a tiger with an injured antelope. "Now, if you did that to a professor and got away with it, I'd give you your due." Chase's smirk blossomed into a grin. If the girl tried that on a professor, she'd find herself in detention for a month.

Storm caught on to what he was saying and only laughed. "As if I may enjoy my fun, but I'm not stupid." she said with a laugh. "If you’re so mighty then why don't you demonstrate your greatness." she said a smirk forming on her lips. "Or how about a challenge." she said a plan forming in her mind instantly a grin on her face.

Chase's interest was peaked, and the gleam in his eyes said so. "What kind of challenge?" he asked. Chase crossed his arms over his chest and looked the girl over a moment. She was cute. A little obvious, but cute. "Name your terms." He hadn't agreed yet, but he didn't feel like walking away. This was entertaining, to say the least.

Storms grey eyes flashed and she smirked slightly. She looked around nobody seemed to be paying them attention at the moment and smirked. She opened her bag and pulled out a glass vial and looked at the contents inside. She opened it and held it up and handed it to him. She then pulled out a similar and smiled. “This was created by my father.” She said indicating to the blood red liquid inside. “It’s effects are odd.” She said studying it more closely. “If you can put this inside the goblet of an Order member, then we wont have to do anything, in fact I’m sure they will find Hogwarts to be a bit bland.” she said a glint in her eye. “But the problem is the timing.” She said shaking the vial around. “You see we have to be extremely persuasive, this potion is to be drunk at exactly 8:00, my father said something about the moon positions, you see if it were to be drunk anytime sooner or later, the Order of the Phoenix will find themselves one member short, don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind death to befall one of them, but I think a goody order member who is after all always on high alert wouldn’t be too keen on accepting a drink from a Slytherin, so you have to be absolutely certain that they drink it at 8:00, and after that all you have to do is watch as they go on a mad torture spree.” Strom grinned she still hadn’t completely finished but was hoping he would ask the right questions.
((I already talked to a friend of mines I’m sleeping over right now and she agreed, kind of to have fun, but she said she won’t make it easy.))

Chase looked into the girl's eyes as she answered his unspoken question. What does the potion do? It would drive someone to torture others. "You're assuming I'm into stuff like that. I'm not. I don't get my thrills from watching people bleed." Chase pushed away from the wall at last, closing the distance between himself and the black-haired girl. He had no interest in slight of hand and slipping potions to people who didn't see them coming. "I'd rather play mind games any day," he said. Chase backed the girl against the wall, using his size to intimidate. He rested one arm casually beside her on the stones, blocking her escape with his body.
((Sorry you went through all the work of okay'ing it with a friend, but Chase is more interested in...the chase. He finds Storm entertaining though.))

((Nah I don't mind it was more of my sisters idea anyways she kind of pushed it out and so my friend agreed because we both thought it might work... she loves drama lol))
Storm felt her back touch the wall and smirked she wouldn't allow herself to be overpowered and decided to play along. "Mind games those are quite fun." she said already enjoying the 'game'. "Of course sometimes those can lead to curiosity, and as they say curiosity killed the cat." her eyes flashed dangerously noticing that he was taller and most likely much stronger than she was.

Chase could feel the girl's refusal to back down, and his lips curved into a grin. This was the kind of game he played. One where everyone knew it was only a game, and yet they were determined to win. "Yeah, curiosity killed the cat," Chase quipped, "but satisfaction brought him back." He was thinking about his own satisfaction at the moment. This school was overrun with girls, and the challenge was irresistible. "What's your name, kitten?" Chase asked.

"I'm not obliged to answer that am I." she said a small grin forming on her lips. "But I'll give you a hint, my name is another word for a squall." she said quietly. "Now then its hardly any fair I give you a hint and I have no clue as to what your name is." she breathed inching closer to his face before slowly pulling back.

"Call me Firebrand, kitten." Chase leaned closer, bracing his other arm next to the girl, effectively trapping her against the wall, unless she decided to pull her wand on him. He could try to guess the girl's name, but she'd talked her way around it, and the best counter to her move was a quick sidestep. He'd just call her kitten for as long as she'd put up with it. "You ever played with fire?"
