Nikki walked into the Great Hall. Nervously she went and sat at the Hufflepuff table. She had been gone so long..."I wonder if anyone might remember me", she thought to herself. She had been vacationing in the muggle world for so long. She felt good about coming back. Nikki knew there would be new friends to make, and possibly old ones to become reacquainted with. She was still kind of nervous though. It was like starting over. A two year vacation...not much had changed. Nothing but the people. She couldn't wait to get settled into a routine again. "I know I am behind on my work. I will probably have so much to make up", she thought as she thumbed trough one of her books. She sat and waited for the other Hufflepuff students to come to breakfast.

Ryan walked into the Great Hall and headed for his usuall spot at the Hufflepuff table when he noticed a familar face he had not seen in a while "Nikki" Ryan said as he went over to talk to one of his first friends from the school "How have you been?"

Startled by the woice, Nikki looked up. "Ryan!" she yelled. She jumped out of her seat and hugged his neck. "It's so good to see you! I wasn't sure anyone would remember me! It is so good to see you!" She laughed and sat back down. Laughing she said, "I'm sorry. It's just so good to see a familiar face. Yet, not so familiar. You've grown. But I suppose that's what things do over time." She moved her things so he could sit with her. "Would you like to sit?" She sat there smiling at him.

Lexus walked hurriedly into the great hall, her stomach was churning and she knew she had to get food fast. Her now long brown curly hair swayed back and forth as she approached the hufflepuff table. Lexus tossed her bag onto the table and sat down, she then grabbed a bagel and started to eat when she noticed who she was sitting by " Ryan!". She said swallowing her bagel, " I haven't saw you in ages!"

Ryan turned to see another of his good friend and smiled big "Wow I know its been a while" Ryan gave a hug to Lexus "What have you been up to?

Lexus layed what was left of her bagel down " Alot ive been so busy, i haven't hardly had time to see anyone, sorry its been awhile" Lexus smiled hoping he wouldn't be to mad at her for her disappearance " what about you?"

"Ive been pretty busy too, I actually went back to my home in the muggle world and graduated from muggle high school which was kind of weird" Ryan laughed "I had to get used to muggle school again for a while, but it was fun.... and i got to do the thing i loved the most in the muggle world, which was act on stage"

" Oh thats wonderful!" She said thinking about what it would be like attending a muggle school. " I was actually rushed off to go dancing.." she smiled at him " but i knew i should come back after leaving without any warning like that" Lexus shifted in her seat and took a glass and poured some water sipping slowly she looked back up at Ryan " So what play did you act in?"

Ryan smiled "well i had a small part in Wizard of Oz, which was very fun and kind of ironic. I also was understudy in the competition play which was Vinegar Tom, which is about a witch hunt, which was also a little ironic" Ryan laughed "And at our theater banquet i got an award for best understudy in one of our shows this year. I was happy. I will actually be going back to the muggle world 2 more times in the next few months, Once to go see my favorite muggle band in concert, and another because its my 18th birthday this year and i will be going to a muggle casino to gamble"

Lexus looked at him oddly, she wasn't sure what a casino was but it must be pretty fun for someone to go back to the muggle world just to go there. " Hmmm casino, must be a muggle only thing" she giggled " Whens your birthday?"

Lexus smiled as a thought came to her " Well im sure it will be alot of fun" with that she looked around the great hall noticing how empty it was then set her gaze back to Ryan " So how is the quidditch team?"
