Imagine them all in their underwear. lol, just kidding. Sing in front of some other, smaller groups first if possible. Pick three spots on the wal in front of you that you can look at, focus on them and it doesn't seem so bad. Just some ideas.

Get 4-5 buddies in a room, have them heckle you whilst you sing. Then you'll know what the worst-case feels like. As long as the reception in the actual room is better (and it shouldn't be worse, if you really do have a good voice) then it'll seem easy by comparison.

What i did once when i was playing a gig with my high school band, decided to do a really spectacular jump finish at the end of our last song. Was sufficiently fixated on the trickiness of that move, i was much more relaxed about actually playing.

Well in the end Im doing a cartwheel of the stage with a landing splits so maybe ill pay attention to that more ill be concentrated on it so much that I probably will get over it but still whenever im rehearsing and someone walks in the auditorium they would just freeze and sit down to listen and when im done they always say how oh my god that was so good you should sing for the whole city at the spring fling so yeah that kind of makes it worse but i haop i dont freeze in the middle.

I know, singing infront of 3 schools must be horribly frightening. But these guys are most definately right.
Example - I dance, so when I have a large crowd I simply pretend their not there. Act as though no one is there, sing as though your alone, let it out.
Another thing is that I hate it in Athletic races how they shoot that starting gun. Same thing, it might startle you at first, but once you get going - it smooths out in the end. ^__^
Good luck with it though! What are you singing by the way?

I sang Waterfalls and rocked it but then it blended in with creep in the middle and back to waterfalls for the ending I thank my friend for it she helped me alot.
