I love movies, all types of movies. I am greatly entertained by stupid movies (thus my boyfriend thinking poorly of my movie tastes) but I really do enjoy a good film. My top five are as follows:
1: Almost Famous - If you haven't seen this film I highly suggest it! It has great dialogue, great acting, great directing, and a soundtrack to die for. It's just an all around great film.
2: Love Actually - I am generally not a fan Hugh Grant, as he tends to play self absorbed jerks, but I can't get over his performance in this movie. The whole film makes me warm and happy. Although I feel that Laura Linney's character was ripped!
3: Saved! - This film has such a great story, and hits on so many things that I think young people wonder about. I really loved that Mandy Moore took the part she did, because it is no secret that she is a big Christian, and this would not be a part that one would think she would take. It's not a bad part, don't get me wrong, it's a very truthfull part. Making it all the more reason to see this film. It's very honest.
4: Dogma - Oh, where to begin! Kevin Smith! Need I say more? Brilliant writer and director. Love him!!! Great plot. God! Can't forget about Alan Rickman. This film officially kicked off my AR obsession. Just see this film!
5: Where The Heart Is - When I was younger my girlfriend and I would watch this movie every other weekend. The acting is lovely and the storyline...it really is one of those that make you smile, and laugh, and cry, and feel every other emotion the characters feel.

Uh I forgot about Love Actually! People think it's boring. I LOVE the movie tho. It is so cute! Well, if I were given the choice between watching Sounds of Music and My Girl, I'm sorry I'd have to chose My Girl... I just love Vada charactr She's so sweet And Thomas J... Aww... Ah well... Most of the movies now are boring... But, I gotta say I like Pirates of the Carribean... Johnny Depp! *Swoon* Orlando Bloom *Drolls*... Kiera Knightly *Heir Heir* She's awsome

- I LOVE that movie!
I also like the X-Men movies LOTR, not so much. I saw the first one and I was asleep after 15 minutes. But, I think it's because my best friend was talking trough the whole movie, distracting me (damn her) and I never saw the second or the third.
