Pandora looked around for a moment and shrugged "Sure, don't really see any reason not to." Besides the very thought of something alive in her hair was a little creepy even if it was a joke.

Ryan smiled and walked to the doorway and sat on the steps outside the door. "How about out here?" he said looking back at her.

Pandora followed him and sat down beside him her hands resting against the wood. She looked up at the sky for a moment before turning to face Ryan. "Its nice, or at least not as dusty."

Ryan smiled "I would have to say both. It looks beautiful out here." he said looking from her to the sky talking more about her than the night outside.

The night was pretty, but then again there was always a strange beauty in it no matter what. Pandora sighed something about it just made everything more real. "When i was younger I would spend so much time just looking up at the night sky." things were so much simpler then, but now she wasn't even looking at the sky she was looking at him.

Ryan slowly turned to look at her and his eyes met hers as he just looked deep into her eyes and then looked away and back up at the sky. He couldnt do this.

Pandora looked at him strangely for a second before turning away "Anything wrong." She didn't know what was going on but she knew it was something and she wanted to know what.

Pandora could have laughed was that all "So we can still be friends and all that." Besides girlfriends didn't last forever. And that wasn't really going to change anything.

Ryan looked at her "Ok, I just wanted you to know." he said as he looked back up at the sky. He knew that she had been thinking a little more than friends at that point, he could see it in her eyes. She probably still was thinking it a little too.

"So which constellation is your favorite." Pandora said changing the subject entirely to relieve some of the awkwardness that was beginning to settle on the situation. She couldn't risk loosing him as a friend when she hadn't had someone who understood her or really got her at all in years. That was what was really important, or at least thats what she told herself.

"Pisces, it commemorates the escape of Aphrodite and Eros from the Typhon through a transformation into fish." It had actually become a reoccurring theme for her, Except she wasn't sure if his escape had really saved him though she liked to think it would have. She tried to hide the slight twinge of sadness when she said his name and almost completely did.

"No" Pandora responded quickly, perhaps too quickly and sharply. How could he ever understand, to admit something was wrong would be to admit out loud that she had a brother who was nolonger her brother. It was not something that she thought anyone else could even begin to comprehend.
