The Dark ((open))

[Pandora D'Winter]

The cobwebs clung to her hair as she walked through still deeper into the the old shack a slight smile curling the edges of her lips ever so slightly. "Its perfect." It was barely a whisper but even through the dust and the cobwebs she knew it was true. The chances of being bothered, especially by some little girly girl who couldn't sleep without a night light, dropped as soon as she walked in. Not that she wouldn't mind a little company sometimes but right now it was nice to have some peace and solitude if only for a moment. She smirked when she thought for a moment all of the other things this old place could be used for. What ever was she going to do with herself.

Ryan walked to the familiar doorway as the floorboard creaked a little and he walked in the door. This used to be his home away from the school, but he hadnt been here in a while. He looked around and saw some fresh footprints in the dust on the floor and knew that someone must be in there as well. He walked around slowly and looked for the person there.

Pandora heard something and whipped around as gracefully as possible barely making a sound. She knew better then to shout out who's there like some helpless little idiot and alert someone of her presence and location. Instead she moved as quietly as she could towards the way she had come. Collecting even more dust and cobwebs as she went. When she finally saw the other figure she smiled, it was only another student. She walked up as close as she could without being seen "Boo." It was barely louder then a whisper but in the abandoned almost silence it seemed to be much louder.

Ryan laughed and turned around to see a slytherin girl that he had never met before. "Nice" he said as he smiled "I should have figured it would be a slytherin, so whats your excuse for being here?"

[Pandora D'Winter]

She couldn't help but smile at his comment. "And Slytherins just love to hang out in dark, dirty, creepy places now don't they. And I don't really see why you would care one way or the other why I'm here at all. But if you must know I just felt like it." the way she said it almost made it sound like the most logical answer in the world, why else would anyone do anything after all. She smirked and looked at him trying to place him but wasn't quiet sure but one thing she definitely did know and that was that he in no way belonged to her house.

Ryan smiled "Thats what I expected you to say. And I know what you are thinking, Im a Hufflepuff" he laughed softly.

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Don't tell me your some little goody-goody." Pandora couldn't help the slightly teasing tone that had crept into her voice. "Where's the fun in that." Some of the greatest things ever were bending and breaking the rules and not getting caught, the split seconds of freedom where no one else was in control.

Ryan laughed "Now if I was a goody goody would I be in here right now?"

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Well..." Pandora pretended to think for a moment. "Maybe your just trying to spy on us evil Slytherins or maybe you decided to do spring cleaning, or maybe you just have a soft spot for the darker things of this world. You tell me."

Ryan laughed "Im just coming to my favorite place, and I dont think slytherins are evil." He watched the girl trying to figure out the real reason she was here "So I can see you arent a goody goody" he said with a smile

[Pandora D'Winter]

Pandora was slightly taken aback, his favorite place she had totally been off of it except for maybe the whole soft spot for the darker things, when she recovered she laughed slightly "Oh you don't think I'm evil, shocker. But you also don't think I'm a goody goody. So what am I." She knew he wouldn't have the right answer and she would be shocked if he had a good answer at all, after all it was a question that she had been struggling with for years.

Ryan looked at her for a second "Now my guesses are usually right but seeing as i just met you a few seconds ago I will probably be wrong. Id say like most of the people I know you have some kind of trouble outside this school, you never play by the rules, and you like to do things without alot of help. And you are a little lonely"

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Pretty good." Pandora said shaking her head slightly "All accept the little lonely part." She was pretty sure that she more then just a little lonely. But then again how would he know how it felt to sometimes feel so cut off even when she was surrounded. "So does the mind reader have a name." She had just realized that he knew way to much about her from that short time for her not to even know that small piece of information.

Ryan smiled and held out his hand "They call me Ryan, and Ive gone through alot myself to be able to tell when someone is going through the same things. So do you have a name?"

[Pandora D'Winter]

"No my parents forgot that little detail." Pandora said with a slight hint of sarcasm mixed in with her teasing voice. "And its Pandora, you know the girl who let all manner of evil into the world." She always left out the hope part because everyone else did. She kept that within herself. It was after all one of the only types of hope she had available.
