"Okay, so Seiji couldn't be here because I want to talk about this guy, and I don't want you being all distracted playing footsies or something. And yes, I totally noticed." He shrugged as though to say the footsies thing didn't matter to him. "This guy was like killing his quill in the common room so I went over to help him and he was freaking out over some other guy." And you know I've been all lonely.

"Okay..." Mari said warily. He would definitely rather Seiji be there, but Castiel came first in like, a huge number of circumstances. "So what happened?" He shifted his bookbag on his shoulder as he looked at his friend. There was a little bit of guilt at how much time he was spending with Seiji instead of Castiel, but he couldn't feel really bad about it.

"So he told me that he'd had his first kiss and then his second kiss with Andy, who I've been looking for everywhere." There. Was that enough to make Mari interested? "Apparently after they kissed, he freaked out and Andy ran off, same as he did with me." Except that Castiel hadn't gotten a kiss before being ditched. "So I was like, I'm not helping you get Andy. And we went up to the dorm to talk." Castiel's fingernails became positively fascinating at that announcement. He doubted that Mari knew all the 5th Year Ravenclaws, but unless his brain had been entirely destroyed by his d~ he'd probably be able to see where this was going.

"And you kissed him," Mari guessed. "You kissed a guy who's kissed Andy. That's, like, super complicated." Unless Castiel intended to encourage some kind of menage situation, then this could get really sticky, really fast. He toyed with his hair as he thought, but couldn't think of anything to say that was actually interesting. "So, do you have a plan or something?"

"Well... I was just going to kiss him," Castiel said. "I was just going to show him how to loosen up, and then he did, and like... We fell into bed together." Castiel had fixed his button, but remembering made him want to loosen it again. "I mean... We just kind of..." He blushed lightly as he made motions with his hands. It wasn't that he'd never talked about doing things with Cheyenne, but this was different. Castiel had only ever looked at guys besides Mari. His relationship with Mari had been unique.
"So like, I kissed a guy who's kissed Andy, and did more, and I kind of want him, but..." He looked back down the empty corridor, then leaned in and lowered his voice. "I mean, that'd be wrong, wouldn't it? To steal someone away? He didn't know I liked Andy..."

"I dunno, does it count as stealing if they're not together?" Mari asked. It was a different situation from his own with Indigo. "He's fair game, right? I mean, if he was dating Andy, then sure, that'd be different. And he did more with you, and didn't freak out or whatever like you say he did with Andy." If anything, that said that the guy might even like Castiel better.

Castiel gave a thoughtful nod, then glanced aside at Mari. His friend always told him what he wanted to hear, and sometimes that was exactly what he needed. Sometimes, however, he wondered if he was getting good advice, or if Mari was just the devil on his shoulder.
"So you think I should go for it?" he asked. Oh yeah, and there was one more little thing... "Um, his name is Gavin Kent. He's like... He's the preppiest guy ever, Mari-Kun! He's all polo shirts and sports and he's never done anything with his hair in his life! It was so soft," he added in a tormented whisper.

Mari's nose wrinkled briefly. "Well, that's weird, but Seiji's all pureblood and Society and stuff," he said. Okay, so it wasn't exactly the same, but he'd gone this long without mentioning Seiji, and it was kind of similar. "I think you should go for it. It's his choice who he ends up with. You're not stealing him from Andy any more than he'd be stealing Andy from you."

Except that he didn't know I liked Andy, Castiel thought. At last he nodded. "Well, I'll see him tonight in the dorm, and maybe I can talk to him when Hyacinth isn't around or after he goes to sleep." Yes, talk. There should be some talking between awesome makeout sessions, right?
"Oh! You said you had something to tell me about you and Seiji, what was it?" He and Mari hadn't talked nearly enough lately.

Mari grinned broadly and looked distinctly pleased with himself. "We made out, and then we went to the dorm room and well, I know what he's hiding in his pants," he said. It had been a day of adventure and discovery for both of them, and he'd loved practically all of it. Except the awkward stopping and confusion. "It was kind of awesome."

Castiel's eyes widened. "Wait, did you have sex?"" he asked. There were a lot of things before sex, though. "Or did you just see, or what? Is it true what they say about Asian guys?" And did that mean all Asian guys, or just some? Seiji was kind of short. How big were his feet? There was something Castiel had never paid attention to.

"No sex," Mari clarified. "Just some touching, and getting off, and fun. I don't know, he seemed average, I guess." It wasn't like he had a lot to compare it to aside from some over-the-clothes touching and things he wasn't technically old enough to see on the internet. "It was so much fun, though, and hopefully we can do it again."

Castiel turned to give Mari a hug. "You're growing up so fast," he said with a dramatic sniffle. "Now we've both been to third base so I can't give you advice anymore." He'd only been that far with Cheyenne, but then, it wasn't like he'd been with a whole lot of people. Just a kiss here and there. And Gavin. Yes, Gavin. Mmm, Gavin.

Mari grinned, but rolled his eyes at his friend. "Don't worry, I'm sure I'll still have to beg for some advice sometime. Besides, you'll be too busy with Gavin to feel missed." Or Andy. Or maybe both of them. "We'll have to compare notes or something. I still can't believe Seiji really came here."

"I wonder if his parents know where he is," Castiel said, pulling back. "He said he ran away, didn't he? But nobody came and took him away." And he wasn't any more legal than they were. How had he gotten enrolled, anyway? If Castiel had time around seducing Mr. Hot-and-Preppy, maybe he'd give it some thought.
