A pleased sound signaled that Mari did really like it and his own hands took in every bit of skin they could find. Hopefully, Castiel would do the same. It wasn't like he was completely lacking in experience, but the only person he'd had an actual connection with was Castiel. Of course, being stopped earlier in the night just made him want to push harder.

Castiel was enjoying this, like really enjoying it, and maybe he decided he wanted to lead now. Maybe Mari didn't need to push at all, because maybe Castiel was already pushing Mari's shirt up and out of the way. There was warm skin and kissing, so he had no complaints at all.

Mari broke the kiss just for a moment. "I'll show you yours if you show me mine," he said, then he thought about what he'd said and laughed. "Wait, you know what I mean!" He laughed again and reached for the hem of his shirt, which was sure he could pull over his head without unbuttoning. He wiggled his eyebrows at Castiel, managing to actually wait for a response this time.

Castiel gave a breathless chuckle and started shrugging out of his vest and shirt like he couldn't breathe with them on. Skin on skin sounded amazing. He made quick work of it, then dove in for another kiss, one where they were so close that their remaining clothing did little to hide things between them.

It was amazing and a few minutes later it wasn't just the wine that made Mari have troubles staying upright. He laughed and leaned back against the desk before his legs forgot how to stand and he started sliding down to the floor. "I'm so glad you're my best friend," he said, his body joining his mind in floatiness, though at the same time his limbs felt heavy.

Castiel laughed too, and tried to hold Mari up with loose limbs that didn't want to cooperate. That only made him laugh more. "You're the best friend ever," he returned. His normally pale cheeks were a vibrant rose from everything that had happened, and he felt pleasantly warm for now. "I don't want to go back to the tower," he said. "It's too far."

"Let's just stay here. I think the floor looks very comfy," Mari said, looking down at the floor and half reaching for it with one hand. "Besides, if I go to the tower, then I might run into Indigo, and I don't wanna run into Indigo. Tonight's been too fun to run into Indigo." And now he was thinking about Seiji again.

"He's prolly off trying to get in Jory's pants," Castiel said. Oops. Well, it was too late now, it was out. Castiel joined Mari on the floor, only just managing to summon their robes so they'd have something blanket-like to wrap around themselves. "I liked making out with you. And stuff." Definitely the and stuff.

Mari wrinkled his nose. "I don't care whose pants he's tryin' to get in," he said. "And if it's Jory I hope he finds someone else he likes better and leaves Indigo alone." So maybe he was still a little bitter about it. He wrapped himself in his robes and rested his head back against the desk, wondering if the world was going to be spinning for the rest of his life.

Castiel wasn't about to lay his head on a hard stone floor, but he wouldn't sleep sitting, so he curled up with his head in Mari's lap. "Maybe Jory's all diseased and stuff. He used to do stuff with that creepy guy in Hogsmeade," he said, yawning. "See you in the morning, Kawaii-Kun," he added.

Mari slipped a hand into Castiel's hair and was silent for a moment before he spoke softly. "I kinda wanna stop pretending with you. But everyone else I'm still gonna do it," he said, only looking at his friend when he'd finished talking. It was scary, even if it shouldn't have been.

Castiel opened his eyes enough to see and looked up at Mari. "Okay," he said sleepily. He closed his eyes again. "I'll help you pretend for other people." He gave a little sigh at the feel of Mari's hand against him. "I love you as much as ever, Kawaii-Kun. Even more maybe."

Mari smiled. It meant a lot to him, even if really it wouldn't have made any sense to worry about Castiel running and screaming or something. He didn't speak except to murmur a good night before he fell asleep and, soon enough, he'd slipped over to cuddle against Castiel.

It wasn't fun being waken up in the morning. In fact, it was the anti-fun. First was the headache, and then there was the fact that he wasn't even able to suffer quietly because a professor was prodding him and Mari to their feet. There was something about getting up, then something else about the wine and contacting their parents. That scared Castiel awake.
He didn't want to leave Mari; he didn't want to get up to begin with, but he wasn't given a choice. He really didn't want to get into trouble, but his mouth was dry and somehow he wasn't able to talk the professor into just giving them a lecture and letting them go.
He looked longingly at Mari as they parted for their separate common rooms, then winced at a sharp pain behind his left eye and began his first true walk of shame.
