Ly hardly paid attention to the damn hotshot quidditch jock as he unfolded his parchment. His brows drew tightly together. No way in f~ had he just been given a tickling charm. He tapped the nearest girl and offered the parchment without a word. If they were all so damned interested in the guy, they could have him, and it didn't count if the teacher didn't see them trade.

The girl seemed to consider before what was apparently her best friend grabbed her arm in a death grip and pulled her away. Aiden heard her say something about tickling and, though he sighed internally, he came up to the guy with a smile. "So I guess it's you and me then, eh?" he asked. "We could meet up somewhere this evening, knock it out in an hour."

"Whatever," Ly said. Maybe he'd show up and sit around long enough to get his name written on the assignment, but even an hour seemed like too long. And his sister had gotten a milquetoast Ravenclaw who'd probably do the whole thing on his own. Why couldn't he get expelled from this place?

Oh wonderful, group work. Ayla hated group work, she really, really hated it. People were slow, even Ravenclaws, because they wanted to get everything just right before saying it was done, then they wanted to work on it some more. "Anyone got silencin'?" she asked, looking around. Of course, group projects also reminded her how few good friends she had made in her years at Hogwarts and, though it usually didn't bother her, sometimes it bit.

Silencing. Silver had already returned to his desk with his own parchment, and picked it up to re-check every time someone called out what they'd gotten. He held the note into the air to get the girl's attention. "Over here," he said. He'd already written down some ideas, and hoped she wouldn't mind.

At least it wasn't a trouble maker who'd slack off, though Ayla wasn't sure that being paired with the head boy was much better. "Hey," she said, grabbing her bag from her seat and clearing one next to him. "Already doing the work? Not gonna let me do anything?" she teased. She did actually kinda want to learn the stuff.

"Oh, no... I was just... waiting, so I wrote some stuff down," Silver said. He had a feeling she was joking, but if it was one of those joking-but-I-really-mean-it things, he didn't want to be rude. "See, it's just a few things we can silence. And the incantation." He knew the incantation from the book, but he'd never had a need to use it.

"You mean we won't borrow your brother's dog for practice?" Ayla asked, grinning and nudging Silver lightly. She, like nearly every other student in the school, had seen the large black dog running across the lawns and though the girl wasn't constantly barking, she could be loud when she wanted to be. No, she didn't actually practice spells on animals.

Silver blushed furiously, though he hoped his curtain of hair would hide the worst of it. "She's... not that bad," he said. She only really barked when she got worked up. Which seemed to be whenever he visited, but apparently he was one of Elouai's favorite people. That was what Dare said, anyway.
"I was thinking borrowing a Wizard's Wireless or something. We can't really show off a Fwooper, but they'd be a good example."

Ayla's grin turned a little smirkish when she saw what was undeniably a blush hidden behind Silver's long hair. "I've got a Wireless," she said. "It's a little one." She lifted her hands to give the rough dimensions of it. It was the right size to carry with her when she was on her board, especially useful when she was able to get the Room of Requirement. Sure, the Room could give her whatever music she wanted, but she liked the Wireless. "Where you wanna meet?"

"Um, I'd say the library, but we're doing silencing spells, so it'll have to be somewhere else." And she wasn't a Ravenclaw, so the Common Room was out. There went the two places inside the castle that Silver was the most comfortable with, besides his own bed.
"We could use the Head Boy and Head Girl's room," he suggested. "No one will bother us there." Adara was gone now, and Brindle never used it, so it would probably work.

Ayla looked at him, somewhat impressed. "You won't get in trouble for lettin' me in there?" she asked. She'd heard stories about the special privileges the prefects and head boy and girl got, but as far as she knew, it was all just rumors. "I never thought I'd see the special rooms," she added with another smile.

"I'll ask the Headmistress, but I don't think she'll mind," Silver said. He tried to ignore the heat that streaked up the back of his neck and into his cheeks. Just because he was attempting not to read anything into what she was saying didn't mean that she meant anything more.
"Your name's Ayla, right?" He hoped he was right, or he'd just stuck his foot into his mouth.

"Yeah, Donnelly," Ayla said, nodding. "Where d'you wanna meet, then?" They needed to have some kind of plan in place. She'd never spent any time with the head boy and she was a little interested, if only due to the novelty of it all. How old was he again? His brother was graduated and they were twins or something, right?

Vivikia made her way back to her seat Albert seemed to have just reached his seat as well. Vivikia opened the parchment, it was the engorgement charm. Her eyes were directed at Albert's as showed her parchment. She didn't want to be paired up with anyone else and was relieved when he nodded that he had been given the same one.
Anyone else might pity the others and their strange pairings but Vivikia didn't unfair for everyone else and having things her way suited her just fine.
"Come" that was the only word Vivikia had to utter and Albert took the seat on Vivikia's right. "The commonroom" there were to her no other options and by now she and Albert know when the commonroom was deserted.
