He was going back to Gryffindor Tower, there was no question about it. He could google bi-curious another time, he just wanted to be somewhere quiet and comfortable, where there wasn't a chance in hell of running into Jory, or Hyacinth, or Brindle, for that matter. Maybe he'd just go straight to the dorms and camp out on his bed with the curtains closed.
He couldn't believe he'd done that, and yet the urge had been harder and harder to resist the longer Jory had been around. Maybe he'd been a little freaked out, but it had only gotten worse when his friend had sat down, started talking, and all those hints had come out that maybe Jory had been interested, and maybe he'd been interested, he just hadn't understood exactly what he'd been interested in.
That could happen, right? He wasn't just deluding himself that he'd actually thought about it all the time?
He was watching the stones in front of his feet as he walked along the corridors, finding his way through the castle automatically. He didn't even need to think to hop a certain step, and he was on the next floor.

Mari was walking arm-in-arm with Castiel, entirely unsure of where exactly they were in the castle and uncaring. He knew they hadn't seen a window in a while, but that wasn't surprising considering how huge the castle was. "Oh my-" he gripped Castiel's arm briefly, interrupting the conversation when he saw a figure ahead of them. "It's Indigo." He hadn't expected to see him so soon, and he looked kind of down.

Castiel stopped with a quiet gasp before Mari's words actually sunk in. Then he followed his friend's gaze. Indigo. He tried to imagine what Mari had told him earlier, but it was no use, the guy was still Indigo Noble, media whatever for Cauldron.
"You should go talk to him," Castiel urged. "Do you have his stuff? You said you had his stuff, right?"

"It's in the dorm," Mari said. He wasn't going to carry the stuff around with him when they shared a House. For a moment he wavered, then determination set in and he pulled on his friend's arm. "C'mon. Hey, Indigo," he said once they were close enough to not have to raise their voice. "You left your notebook and pen in the common room last night, it's up in my trunk."

Indigo looked up, nerves clear on his face in the moment before he registered the words. He blushed and looked down. "Oh, uh, thanks. I thought I'd lost them," he said. He glanced up at Castiel, wondering if he knew, then down to the pair's linked arms before finding the floor again. "I was just... going back to the dorms, you don't have to give them to me now or anything."

Castiel patted insistently at Mari's arm, then gave him a meaningful look. Here's your chance! "We were heading for the dorms, too. I was just about to say goodbye." He gave Marius a broad grin. "Goodbye!" A quick kiss on the cheek, and he was more than ready to leave Kawaii-Kun to his fate.

"Yeah, see you later, Castiel," Mari said as his friend disappeared. He wondered how long it would take Castiel to figure out how to get back to his dorm. He also wondered why Indigo was blushing, he wasn't blushing, was he? A hand to his own cheek said that no, he wasn't, or at least it didn't feel like he was, the skin wasn't warm. Wasn't skin supposed to get warm when you blushed? "I might as well give it to you now so we don't forget," he said, turning his attention fully to Indigo.

Give it to you. Indigo's mind was firmly in the gutter and he didn't want it there. He wasn't visualizing things or anything, but it seemed like everything anyone said was sexual, somehow. He really shouldn't have kissed Jory. But he'd had to! It was going to happen, at least he'd gotten it over with fast.
"Um, do you have it with you?" Indigo looked to see if Castiel was gone before remembering. "Oh, you said it was in the tower, sorry." You don't really need to say sorry. "Um, like..." He looked around again before dropping his gaze. "We should probably talk, right?"

"Um, I guess. Did you get your thinking done?" Mari asked. He slid his half gloved hands into his pockets. "Do you wanna do it here? I saw a door back there." He jerked his thumb over his shoulder. Though there wasn't anyone else in the corridor right now, it would be easy for someone to walk in on them, and Mari didn't know if Indigo wanted people to know.

Indigo reddened. Do it. Back door. No, Mari had said there was a door back there, not anything about... He cut himself off. "I don't know, I mean, yes. Wherever." He nearly groaned at his stammering. Was he destined to be a failure talking to everyone now? "Ididmythinking,Idon'tcarewherewetalk," he blurted.

"Chill, Indigo," Mari said, smiling. "You're not gonna, like, run me off or something." It didn't really matter what Indigo had decided, Mari wasn't going to hold it against him either way. The door was a short walk away and hid an empty classroom. "So...did you figure anything out?" he asked, leaning back against a desk once the door was closed.

Indigo paused, then dropped his bag on the floor. He nodded, but all the words that he'd thought he could say earlier sounded stupid now. Had he really thought he could just talk about this? Just say out loud that maybe he wanted to kiss and just see if he liked it? But was that it? Obviously he'd liked it before, so that wasn't right. He hadn't decided anything, had he?
He silently chastised himself, then thought back to his conversation with Jory. He couldn't remember what he'd said anymore. "I'm crap at talking," he managed. "But like... yes?" He felt almost sick with nerves, despite the suggestion that he chill. "Just to try it, 'cause like, I don't know."

"Try what? Kissing? Because kissing's fun," Mari said. He could do kissing. He wasn't out for a boyfriend right now. Or a girlfriend. Kissing, though, and fooling around, he could definitely do. Plus, if Castiel's girlfriend said yes, then he'd have two people he could kiss, and he'd feel like one of the hottest things on the campus.

He shouldn't be doing this. Indigo wished he hadn't set his bag down, because now he wanted to flee. He wanted to go hide on his bed even more than he had before, when he'd thought that at least he could talk to Mari like a real person. And yet here he was, stuttering along, and Mari didn't even know what he was talking about. Kissing's fun. Indigo didn't know if he'd describe it as fun.
"I'm sorry, this was a mistake," he tried. "I should just go." He reached for his bag again. There was choosing someone who wouldn't be offended at the idea of an experiment, and there was everything meaning absolutely nothing.

Mari pushed away from the desk and reached out to stop him. "Wait, c'mon, talk. What's up?" he asked. "Okay, so what do you want to try? I'll try whatever it is you wanna try." He'd never really talked about this kind of thing before, he'd always just done it and gone with the flow. It didn't seem like Indigo wanted to give up on it, he just seemed like he was still confused. Or maybe just super, super nervous.
