"You've also got the Tremlett sisters at Hogwarts. They're not celebrities on their own, but when your dad plays bass for the Weird Sisters, there's some notoriety." Who else? There were the obvious ones, like Delphi Pythia, then the ones who appeared in gossip columns semi-regularly, like the Blackwood-Hardts. "This place has a lot of drama in it," Connor said slowly, thinking. "I think the Traces have some kind of drama, I heard something about a love potion with Shianni. She had this ring on for a long time and then she was married to Rowan. I guess when you live with people drama just happens." He shrugged again.

Vane nodded. He'd actually edited those articles, and knew the bits which had been trimmed out. Cauldron was no Daily Prophet, and didn't sell itself ruining people's lives. Dahlia was a master at finding out things people weren't supposed to know, but if she wanted to alienate readers, she could do so in her gossip column.
"Well, as I said, I'll be doing interviews. I've submitted four or five already, though Dahlia did the dirty work for me. It'll be good to get into it myself. Can I trust you to keep something to yourself?" He wouldn't have asked the old Connor, he'd have told, but things changed.

"Yeah, go ahead," Connor said. He didn't have any ties to anyone in the castle, not beyond a purely professional standpoint, anyway. "I've never been a tattletale, you know that." He wasn't sure why he hadn't developed that trait, but it just didn't feel right. If something was told in confidence, it was told in confidence.
