"I know that now," she said with a smile. Ryan was so perfect, sweet sensitive and he had a playful side. Gabby shut her eyes and laid her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. She loved listening to the regular beat and it made her feel protected, safe.

Gabby felt at peace. Her time so far at hogwarts after her return had not been good, except for Ryan. She knew that she needed to stay with him just to remain sane, with her fear about Emilian and the hatred shown to her by half the school, she needed all the love she could get.

"That at the moment, you are about the only thing keeping me here." Gabby replied with a sigh. Gabby ran a finger down the middle of Ryan's chest until she reached his stomach absentmindedly.

"Because I've made enemies with about half the slytherins, I've made a fool of myself countless times and I'm scared. Scared that what happened to Vannah and the other girls might happen to me. I can't be with you all the time and even though he might not go for younger targets, I would be an easier one, there's no way I could defend myself against him."
Gabby sighed, ~why did everything have to be so complicated,~ she thought.

Gabby felt her heart turn over. ~Is it possible to love someone so much, it's too much?~ Gabby wondered. She mentally shook that thought our her head and just closed her eyes. Exhausted after everything that had happened.

"Yea, just a bit tired i think." Gabby said a yawn escaping her mouth followed by a smile. "I think I should go to bed," Gabby stood up and stretched, "walk me to the dorm?" she asked Ryan.

Ryan got up and smiled "Sure" he said as he held her hand and walked her to the Gryffindor entrance. He leaned in and kissed her "I love you."

"Love you too," Gabby whispered after their final kiss for that day. She watched Ryan walk away with a strange premonition that things were going to change tomorrow. Gabby shook her head, putting it down to tiredness and climbed into the Gryffindor common, she didn't even make it upstairs and fell asleep in one of the armchais in front of the roaring fire.
