Mano laughed softly and shook his head, "Well, when you see beauty every day, you become blind to it." He doubted that most knew how good they looked. And the ones that knew it well seemed to take advantage of it and it was more trouble than it was worth in the end.

Evan eyed Mano, yes he was definitely mysterious. "Tell me a little about yourself Mano, you already know a little about me, I know nothing about you." Evan wanted to get as much out of Mano as she could even if she had to flirt a little to make him. She grinned cunningly.

"What do you want to know?" Mano asked, sitting back in his chair and raising an eyebrow. "Or should I just start rambling off facts?" He couldn't blame her for wanting to know about him, he quite enjoyed learning about the people he met, if normally only to reinforce connections and widen his circle of knowledge.

Evan pondered a moment, what would she like to know?.. No too early for that she thought, thats for another time. Giving Mano a grin she said, "Tell me about your background like family, where you lived and your favorite childhood memory." That should keep him going she thought, this would give Evan time to take in every angelic feature of the cafe owner.

That was quite the tall order. He thought for a moment, sorting out what all to say and just how to answer. "I'm a pureblood, we live in the country side in a large manor house with a house elf and a koi pond. Well, my parents still live there, I'm currently staying in the apartment attached to the cafe. My favorite childhood memory would probably be the first summer ball I went to." Or the one a few years later when he met that charming little brunette that had caught so many bachelors' eyes.

Gee that was a quite a lot i got. Hmm going to have to try harder next time. Evan had just finished taking in the shades of Mano's hair and noticed a lock sticking out that she wished she could just tuck behind his ear. "You seem to have a well off lifestyle, many would dream of a life like yours."

"It is a dream," Mano agreed, raising up his cup in a mock toast. "Nice to have a break, but I try not to take it all for granted." And it had taught him how to talk, conversation had always come easy to him and tutors didn't hurt. He knew the ins and outs and what to say and when to say it, though genuine interest was key in using his knowledge best.

"Well, I have kind of an easy life myself expect for the past few years but thats nothing too interesting." Evan smirked, she didnt want to take about that so soon. Plus this wasnt the time and place for that. Evan raised her hand to draw attention to the girl at the counter, she ordered another coffee hoping that Mano would realize she wanted to stay just that little bit longer.

"Oh, I find many things interesting," Mano said. He loved information, he thrived on it. It was one of the many perks of having the cafe, being able to have a steady stream of new and infinitely interesting people every day. Connections were important in the world, and he was building his loop every day.

Evan laughed "not this it would probably depress you more than interest you." Getting quite warm Evan flicked her quite long hair behind her shoulder making sure to show a lot of her neck. "So how long have you been running this business?" Evan wanted to continue this conversation on as long as it was off her.

"Roughly two and a half years," Mano answered. He would let the issue of her past drop, for now, at least. "I had a friend or two that had taken up shopkeeping and thought I would try my hand at it. Another joined us but he has had more than enough and is heading home again this summer sometime." He wouldn't dwell on Eros.

Evan relieved of her past being dropped said, " Phew thats a long time. Well it seems to have been a success." she chuckled raising her new cup of coffee to here lips and blowing gently on it so she could take a sip. "Ahhh.." Evan let out a sigh as she inhaled the strong smell issuing from her cup.

"Not that long, but some days it seems like I've been here my whole life," Mano said. He wouldn't give up his old life for anything, though. He loved the balls and the easy life he'd had, though he knew it would change when he finally went back. He wasn't even sure when he would go back, he was quite happy avoiding social responsibilities.

"I would love to have my own shop, a potion shop that is." Evan replied setting her cup down on the table. "I have the money for it but... I just wouldn't know how to start it or anything. Plus I have been out of swing of things lately so it might all change." she said. An image of a little shop just down the road her popped into her head with different colours of smoke and smell bellowing out of the windows and door. Evan had to claw her way back to the present and looked at Mano and smiled.

"Well, you know, the cauldron shop down the way has been empty for a while," Mano said, gesturing off toward the all but empty building. "You could buy that and set it up. I could give you some tips." He smiled and lifted the last bit of his drink to his lips. That would be a good way to be around her, too.
