Vanna shook her head as a small tear slid down her face. "I can't." She barely said above a whisper. "I---I---thought....I told you...and then..." Vannah said not clear enough.

"Ryan..." Vannah said soflty pleading that he would understand. "It's just....it's hard, you know? I told you things, I trusted you, I even..." She stopped for a bit, but then quietly added "...loved you." The tears came down her face. "Then you meet, one girl and everything changes. It's hard." She said staring at him. "It's hard, but we can get through it. It will just take some time, okay?"

Vannah walked over to him slowly. "Hey." She said looking into his eyes. She wiped his tears with her thumb. "It'll be okay. I promise."

Vannah bit her lip hoping he would say something to recognize that she said something. She sighed. "Okay....well....then...I guess I have some....homework to go start..." She said slowly turning for the door.

Ryan couldnt hold it in any longer, he just blurted out "I love you" while crying.

Vannah stopped dead in her tracks. With those three words her heart started to beat faster. She didn't know if she was scared or happy, but whatever it was...it was different. She turned around, now a few feet away from him, "Enough to give it a try?"
