"You wouldn't want to...come upstairs or anything, would you? Have a drink?" Or two. Or three. It didn't seem like this would be an overly complicated conquest for Emilian, but a couple of drinks never hurt anyone. Assuming he even made it to that point without pulling Jory into a kiss the second they were away from the windows. Hell, why was he even considering waiting until they were clear from sight of the street?

Jory's eyes rounded in surprise at the question. "Um...I probably shouldn't drink." No, the last time he had done that...well, he would rather not think about it. "But...I'd come up, sure." He smiled and forced his expression into something that wasn't such obvious surprise, bringing his eyes back to normal in the process.

Emilian grinned as he told Jory the price and took the money. "Alright then, now that that's done, shall we?" He waved his wand toward the door to lock it and flip the sign to closed before gesturing toward the back door that led up to his apartment. At least he wouldn't have to waste drinks.
