Ryan put his arms back around Vannah as he looked into the fire and thought about his past.

After many akwardly silent moments, Vannah turned her head towards Ryan. "Ryan....that girl in the halls. I know her." She said. She was always bad at saying what was wrong, so she started with the obvious.

Ryan looked into Vannah's eyes "Well I kinda noticed that one."

Vannah shook her head. "No...I mean I really know her. Something happened during that Orientation week. I--It was a--a m--mistake. I d-din't know I could---" Vannah said tears sliding down her face. "It was all a mistake." She said again...more for herself.

Ryan watched Vannah and softly wiped the tears from her eyes "What happened?"

Vannah was shaking now. "I-I didn't mean to. It j-just happened. I-didn't know." She continued mumbling. Tears came harder and faster. "H-he said it was o-okay. N-nothing would happen." She said. "I-I should've kn-known. He n-ever t-told me why he was th-there."

Ryan put his arms around Vannah and held her. "Its ok Vannah." he rubbed her back as he held her

Vannah took a deep breath. She buried her head further in his chast. "Iabaittleon." Vannah said muffled and quickly.

Vannah didn't look Ryan in the eye. "I said." She took a another deep breath." Ihavealittleson." She said quickly. "He's about 3 y-years old." Vannah said as she started shaking with tears again.

"It's not something I usually share with people the morning after I met." Vannah burtsed out. "In fact, it's not something I usually share with people at all. I thought I could trust you, but just forget it." Vannah pushed away and stood. She didn't know why she felt so angry all of the sudden, but she couldn't help it. "I'm leaving." She muttered before exiting the Room of Requirement.

Ryan followed her quickly trying to keep up with her. "Vannah why are you so angry? You can trust me. What would make you think that you couldn't?" he said as he got beside her and walked with her.
