Leo's eyebrows raised at that news. "You got a tattoo?" he asked, though it felt like more like a statement than a true question. He hadn't expected her to get one of those, or for her to be friends with someone that would up and go to London to get his tongue pierced. "Have you been wanting a tattoo?" He tilted his head slightly in question.

"Yeah, I guess so." Verity asked, her face twisting into an expression of confusion. "I mean, yes. I've been thinking about it." Well, that was mostly true. The thought had crossed her mind once or twice over the years, but she hadn't really thought about it until that day. She didn't know what she was expecting from his reaction, but there was still a hint of disappointment in her voice. It was her decision, her body, and what she wanted. Verity pressed her lips into a smile. "Why? Is there a problem?"

"No, no, of course not," Leo said after only a moment's hesitation. "I've just never really been into them, but I'm sure it looks wonderful on you." He gave a smile and his eyes softened, although he still didn't understand the appeal of tattoos. "You'll have to show it to me sometime." The smile turned into a grin and his eyes sparked softly.

It was contagious, really, the way his lips curved upward as his lips parted ever so slightly, making his green eyes shine even brighter. Verity found herself grinning back without really meaning to. She shifted in her seat and leaned forward a little. Her eyebrows arched a little in mild surprise. “Maybe.” She teased, taking a sip of wine from the glass in front of her.
