Chase shook his head, unable to really respond to that, and picked up his quill. "A herd of angry hippogriffs couldn't change his mind," he said. A slap would do nothing but get Dru thrown out, assuming her hypothetical ability to get into his presence in the first place. "My father is stubborn as hell and God of all he surveys in his own mind."

"Well, it would make me feel a lot better," Dru declared, pressing a light kiss to the back of Chase's neck. "I'd even bet you would get a little smile out of it." After the fact, when he was sure he would survive the wrath of his father. It would be something that wouldn't have much affect in the end of it, but that would give her a little bit of release from the entirety of the situation.

Chase exhaled a low breath at the soft feel of Dru's lips and lay down his quill. He wouldn't have any desire to smile at seeing Dru slap his father, no more than he ever had when his mother had slapped him, but Dru could have her dream if it amused her. He was tired, and the stress was wearing on him. The anger lingered. He turned his chair and reached for Dru, catching her hand to pull her close. Whatever that brief kiss had been for, it had reminded him of a very pleasurable outlet for his stress.

Dru slid into Chase's lap, an arm looping around his neck as she pulled close to him. "We just keep breaking rules," she said, a light tease pushing away anything else that had been in her eyes. "You're my boss now." Of course, it was better than if she hadn't graduated at last. Last she checked, people weren't supposed to date their superiors. She didn't really care, she was already a mistress, there wasn't much else to do.

"And the Headmistress is f~ing Professor Sebastien," Chase said. "She doesn't care as long as it's not students." He'd have been in a hell of a lot of trouble if Dru hadn't graduated, but that was a moot point. He wrapped his arms around her without another thought to the Headmistress and took Dru's lips in a bruising kiss.

Dru hadn't been expecting the force, but returned it all the same. Her hands moved into Chase's hair and urged him on. If he needed it to be like this, then she wouldn't stop him. She knew how it could be when the stress got to be too much, she wasn't going to complain. A hand broke from his hair to curve around the side of his neck and hold him close.

This was what Chase wanted, this would hold him over until the weekend, when he could purge himself completely in a power struggle with Carolynn. This would clear his mind until all he could focus on would be Dru and how much he needed her to want nothing more than she wanted him. He could have started slow, should have started slow, but Dru never argued this. She knew he'd make it good for her.

Yeah, she knew, and Dru rarely argued what he initiated. There were enough slow times to make up for anything else, and sometimes she was just as eager as he was. Her hands slid into his hair and down his back, urging him on until the end when she put one against his jaw to beg another kiss.

Chase obliged, his temper much restored with so much energy expended. His desk was a mess now, but he couldn't have cared less. He could gather up the applications for transfer and the personal notes from other professors later. The kiss was lengthy, slow now, but as intense as ever. Only when he was thoroughly satisfied did he straighten and offer Dru a hand up.

Dru took the offered hand and smiled at him before going to search for her clothes. "How is it having power over all the school?" she asked, throwing a teasing glance over at him. She loved having the library, although she didn't love it enough to give up the club to only have the library. She could only imagine how much Chase liked having ultimate power.

"Not much different than before," Chase said, one corner of his lips rising into a smirk. He tugged his trousers into place, casually watching Dru as he dressed himself. As long as he kept his nose clean, he could do pretty much whatever the hell he wanted. "I haven't had to deal with the professors yet." They'd probably avoid him like the plague, which was fine with him. It just meant that many fewer people to deal with.

"I bet Michael is squirming knowing that you're his boss," Dru said, settling her shirt back into place before pulling her hair from beneath the cloth so that it rested on her shoulders. It was strange knowing Chase was her boss, and she knew the history that he and Michael had, it could lead to some awkward office parties, to say the least.

"They all are," Chase said definitively. "I can't imagine Professor Sebastien's any happier than Michael." Not that Chase knew the man personally, but some rumors brought up interesting points. Was it favoritism that had gotten him the position? The Headmistress had certainly overlooked a lot of his wrongdoings over the years. But why not someone older and likely more qualified? Not that he particularly cared, since he came out ahead.

"Well I kind of like it," Dru said, coming up to Chase and running a hand absently through his hair. It was a slight breaking of the rules that felt comfortable, it was one she could think of without the fine line of thinking about it too much and ruining the thought like with her. "And it's nice to have the library. You know, you can see just about every bit of the library from the main desk?" They probably hadn't been half as hidden as they had hoped when they hid in there.

Chase's brow arched at the thought. Apparently the previous librarian hadn't paid as much attention to the students as he'd thought. Either that, or she had a kinky side because he'd never once been interrupted. "Do I have to tell you to stay away from Dahlia?" he teased, though the meaning behind the tease hadn't a bit of humor to it. She'd never say a word, he knew, but it was something he'd never thought of.
