Vannah pursed her lips in protest. "Sometimes, maybe. But most of the time it's better to keep quiet." She said wushing she could've thought of something better to say. Her eyes were cold and hard.

"Tempting." Vannah said unenthusiastically. "That's a very dangerous thing tempting someone who has problems controlling what she does with her wand." He was right, of course. It was exactly what she wanted to do but doing it wouldn't bring her anything more than temporary staisfaction. And she needed so much more than that.

Vannah's face didn't falter. There was no trace of laughter or even a small there. "Good, then go hang out with your girlfriend. She always seems to be a magnet for danger." A smirk spread scross her lips. It was more of a promise than a threat.

"Good idea." Vannah said sarcastically. "Therefore, I should get going." She said again. The conversation was going somewhere she didn't want it to and she realized that it was mostly her fault, but that little detail was overlooked.

Vannah stopped. It was news to her about Emilian and his words suddenly crept back into her mind. He would be around here, he had said. "Oh, yes." Vannah twisted around. "I...er...met Chase down near the lake after he got out." Her words left a satisfied smile on her face. That should be enough to keep his thoughts busy. Nothing had gone on with them, again, but her words told a different story.

Vannah rolled her eyes. It annoyed her that whatever she did it had no effect on Ryan whatsoever. She let out a short "Bye." Before turning back to the door and leaving before he could say anything else to her.
