First you need a URL, the same as with your signature. Go to your profile/Modify Profile. Under Personal Information, there's an avatar drop-down menu. Ignore it and put your avatar URL, for example i40.photobucket.com/albums/e228/lurvlybasketcase/icons/Celebrities/js5.jpgin the box beneath (cleverly labeled Avatar URL). The two boxes under that, Avatar width and height, you normally enter 100 into. Most avatars are 100 pixels square. Scroll down and click Modify Profile. (If it comes back up that it couldn't identify you, just scroll back down and click Modify Profile again. Depends on what browser you use.) This is how you put your signature image and your avatar onto your profile:
Up at the top of the page under the Magikal World banner, click Profile, then Modify Profile. Scroll down under Personal Information, and in the Avatar URL: box, paste the URL for your avatar:
http://th207.photobucket.com/albums/bb12/XxcroSSbornLoVExX/icons/th_goodgirlbadhabit.gif
In the two boxes underneath that, type 100 (assuming your icon is square).
Scroll down to the hole that says Signature and paste the URL for your signature, with image code on either side, as shown below:

Scroll down to the bottom and click Modify Profile. If it refreshes the page or something, just click Modify Profile again and it should work.
