Lyric's black-rimmed eyes narrowed. "If I get drunk enough it won't matter." There was a chance he wouldn't remember it later, but it was the same with half the things he took into his body. The point wasn't to live a good life or be happy, it was to forget for a while. "Why did you ask me to come back here?" To f~ was the easy answer. He enjoyed finally having gotten a reaction from the guy, but he thought he might like to hear him admit it.

"Well I didn't bring you back here just to get you drunk enough to go to bed with me," Mano said. "Of course, going to bed is a goal very high on my list. Drinking is fun, but it's much better to be aware of what's going on." He didn't enjoy doing things with someone that wasn't willing, and getting someone drunk for purely that reason just screamed inappropriate, unless they had agreed and all that jazz like what had happened with Markise.

"I don't want to think," Lyric said firmly. He was already feeling it. He'd only had two glasses, but he hadn't eaten in a day and a half, so it wasn't going to take much. "If it's high on your list, let's just do it." Get it over with, get to that moment where he couldn't think of anything but the end.

Mano eyed Tom for a minute before nodding. He finished his own drink and stood, offering an arm to Tom. "I won't argue with someone that knows what he wants as much as you do," he said, setting his glass down. He refused to just have at it right here when there was a perfectly good bed right up the stairs.
