Out already and back home, was only there for half an hour. They told us all to call at 11 tomorrow (oh I'm interested to see how two pages worth of people can all call and get through at the same time) to see what we're doing. Maybe that'll be it, lol.
Neither of my parents have ever had it before!

Lucky them. My mom got it multiple times and it was hell for the entire family for however many weeks it lasted. She couldn't tell us anything that happened in the courtroom or anything about the case or anything that had to do with anything, but she was heinously stressed and the house was quiet and tense.
I've been summoned at least twice, but have sent in documents proving that I was unable to attend. I think the first time I had just registered to vote.

I...just woke up. and I'm ready to go back to sleep. But I'm trying hard not to waste my life away asleep....
My entire family has had it except my sister in law because she's still working on getting full citizenship...

Sleep is nice, I want sleep. I'm hoping I'll call and they'll just be like "yeah, don't worry about coming in."

That had to have been the shortest jury duty ever, called this morning and I don't have to go back!

Um...Crystal Ball and Glitter in the Air are two really good Pink songs that are slow. Good Charlotte has some good ones...my brain's dead other than that.

I've gotten the slip in the mail for jury duty so many times.3 times my command wrote in saying I couldn't go. I've called in lots and had the recording tell me to call back the next day, and the next, once I even had to call in for a whole week, but in the end they never had me come in. Oh, but once I lost the slip telling me when it was and freaked out that they were like going to put a warrant out for my arrest. They didn't (or at least when I got a speeding ticket about 6 months later they didn't mention any warrants).

It's supposed to be an honor or something, isn't it? And yet all I can think about is this:
