Jory knew just which corridors to go down now, he had all of them memorized. He knew just which one to go down to be alone and hide away in a little alcove. He shouldn't feel like this, he really shouldn't, should he? No, he should think logically and go talk to Jamie, but the gossip said that there was something going on between Jamie and some girl named Verity. Jory had no idea who she was, but it said she was with someone else, too.

He didn't know what was going on, but Jamie had wronged him before and no matter how much he had enjoyed the last time he had met up with Jamie it was so easy to assume the worst. This wasn't supposed to happen! Sure, the gossip column was wrong a lot, but Jamie had admitted he had been with girls before and who knew, he could be playing him, couldn't he? It could be fake, Jamie could have gone right back to the Slytherin Common room after leaving the Astronomy tower and found Verity.

Vivikia walked in search of the aclove, She and Broderick had found it very well the other night she and Broderick had each took as he called a "happy pill" and the the urge to have a full blown make out session over took them and this cozy little hideaway was available for the taking that was really all the Vivikia could reWizard.

This time of course might be different as usual all their times together were never the same, Broderick more than likely would be in the mood to talk.

It was dark but Vivikia found the aclove and as she made her way inside muttered a soft "Lumos, your early" but once she did she noticed it wasn't him but someone else.

((Sorry, I never specified it was night, and Jory's been in his hidey hole for longer than a "just showed up" sorry if I wasn't specific enough, he's been mulling things over for a while))

Jory probably should have been somewhere else, a class probably, and he had been lost in his thoughts while sitting in his alcove when he heard a voice from a little ways away. "I don't know who you're looking for, but it's not me," he said, then turned his attention to reread the article yet again. He kept hoping that he would find something different, some new detail in the short paragraph that would prove nothing had happened.

"I'm sorry, my mistake" Vivikia moved closer to see more closely who she was speaking with. She remember Zilnafa's description of her friend Jory. Yes this boy met the description it was clear he wasn't interested in class just as she was but then again she was out of class because of the greenhouse incident with her partner who rather preffered for her to sod off than help, she would return back of course but only when class was almost over. The boy in front of her was just obviously skiving.
"Your Zilnafa's friend aren't you?? a brightly smiling Vivikia asked. Vivikia noticed the what he was reading "Oh I see your like me more wiser to read it in print then hear everyone elses version"

"Um...I'm friends with her, yeah," Jory said, then folded the paper and tucked it away when the girl mentioned it. "But I was just seeing if something was true." He still hoped it wasn't, though he had found nothing to say it wasn't. He wanted to be able to just blindly trust Jamie, he really did, but it was so hard.... And had Zilly really been talking about him?

Vivikia studied the boy before her pleasantly she studied him "Electric blue eyes..Yes your Zinafa's cute friend Jory, You see I'm Vivikia. I don't mean to frighten you but it's just that when I met Zilnafa before we both inquired about one another about wether we had made many friends. She speaks highly of you if you must know, I hope that doesn't make you uncomfortable". How terrible of her to let the cute part slip out but damage was already done. In response to the paper he tucked away Vivikia simply replied " Yes of course but finding out if something is true is not so easy"

Jory felt heat rise at the compliment, and he shrugged at he comment about the paper. "That's an interesting name," he said, wondering who this girl was. It took him a few moments to remember Zilly mentioning going shopping with some girl, had she said a name? Jory couldn't remember. It was quite possible this was the same girl. There seemed to be a lot of interesting names in this school.

He wasn't uncomfortable in the slightest about the compliment. "Thank you it's just a witches name really yours however is more unquie I feel. It's nice to finally meet you." Vivikia told Jory with a smile and smile that most always made everyone melt." You are in my year but you are not in class???"

"Would you mind if I sit?? My heels thou very fashionable they are and I love them but sometimes they are very unkind to me." Today she had on of course a black pair to go with her uniform but they were so much more than just plain black with fancy thick outer detailing and sequins with a cute bow buckle to go around her ankle they put the reguired shoes with her uniform to shame.

The smile really did nothing for Jory, who was so unsure of people in general anymore. And this girl, no matter her words, gave him an uneasy feeling. "Yeah, you can sit," he said, anyway. He pulled his legs up, hugging his knees to his chest as he examined the girl and tried to shake himself of the feeling. He wasn't sure what she wanted, but at least he wasn't brooding on Jamie for the moment.

"Thank you" Vivikia said kindly. "You arent missing that much to be honest about class if you have herbology, just working with some plant that shoots out disgusting slimey stuff. My partner was the one who got all the slime it missed me thankfully but I escorted my partner to the bathrooms to clean up class was about over anyway no use going back." "I've been tutored at home before now you see"

Vivikia dropped her smile "Look I get because you think I'm in Slytherin ...you probably think all that's true about me and I know it wouldn't help for me to say otherwise but it was nice meeting you. I guess I should leave you alone now." Vivikia stood up.

Jory raised an eyebrow at the little outburst. "Um...okay?" He hadn't said anything wrong, had he? He was thoroughly confused, not that it was hard to confuse him in the first place. His words ran through his mind as he tried to figure out just when he had said something to make her get up and leave when she had just sat down.

"...Okay...could you please just not mention to Zilnafa that you've already met me???" still frowning Vivikia took that as confirmation that her company wasn't needed or wanted but he could have said it to her instead of displaying as if she were stupid, She would never mention to Zilnafa that she ran into him before, she wouldn't mention him period at all. Vivikia needed to be careful this was Zilnafa's friend a friend she was very close with and Broderick needed to know.

Vivikia waited for Jory to agree, she was going to definitely do better exploration of the corridors in the meantime.

Jory wasn't acting like she was stupid, he was just thoroughly confused at what he had done to make her up and leave. He hadn't said anything, and his posture was a fairly normal way of sitting for him. It rarely actually meant something, it just made him feel safe, even when he was around people he liked, like Zilly. "Um...okay? Is there a reason?"

"Yes there absolutely is a reason. you may not voice it but you feel very uncomfortable about me and that is the last thing I want because your a very important friend to Zilnafa. You seem to have had your mind elsewhere before I came in here and in hindsight I see I should have left. Afterall that's why your here isn't it?
"It's just that I'm new here and I want it to work out not mess things up. I guess I really can't make you not tell her" Vivikia said sadly.

Jory blinked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Um...everyone makes me uncomfortable," he said. It took more than a simple hi, my name is to make him feel at ease around someone anymore. It wasn't always like that, but it was impossible not to feel like everyone was out to get him now. There had been a couple of weeks where he thought it was all getting better, but that darn article had thrown him back.
