Jamie grabbed Bill's hand firmly, so it wouldn't slip out of his hand. Once he was up, Jamie pulled his arm around his back for support. "Are you sure you're alright? Do you want to sit back down?" Jamie asked mistaking his struggle purely from the fact that he was just laying on the floor unconscious. Jamie became gradually aaware of how close they were.

Lyric was used to being unsure of his footing. He'd been dealing with it long enough that it was the rule rather than the exception. Still, being so close to someone changed everything. A part of him he always ignored wanted to lean in, to ignore that it was another person offering support and just take it. A part that had ruled him for as long as he could recall wanted to pull away and disappear.
But he could feel that arm against his back and he wanted more contact, enough to forget what he was doing. "There's nowhere to sit," he pointed out, his voice soft and low. Nowhere but the floor, at least.

Jamie glanced around, of course he had chosen one of the least used corridors to hide. There were benches in the Entrance Hall, but it was probably too far away. He grabbed his wand with the hand that wasn't wrapped around Bill and leaned in to compensate. He moved a box near the middle of the corridor next to one on the other side of the corridor. It wasn't the most comfortable seat, but it would have to do for now. He moved the adjoined boxes right next to Bill.

The boxes were uncomfortable, but by the time Lyric had sat, it was too late to wish he'd kept standing. He was in no place to make demands or ask for help up again. So he sat, unsure of what to say or do that wouldn't get him punched again. The ache in his jaw didn't bother him, not when pain in general was so easy to ignore, but the color was impressive. His skin was so pale that it was easy to see the damage.

((Sorry it took so long))
Jamie brought his hand up and cupped Bill’s chin. He tilted Bill’s head slightly so he could examine the damage more clearly. Only instead of looking at the bruise, Jamie’s eyes focused on his lips. He wondered what it would feel like to kiss him. To feel the soft pressure again. Without realizing it, Jamie’s lips inched closer to Bill’s.

((i forgive you this time))
Lyric caught his breath on a soft gasp, one he hardly felt for the rapid beat of his heart. His eyes dropped to Jamie's lips and he leaned tentatively closer, everything coming to a head in the moment before he threw caution to the wind. It had been so long and there were so many things about Jamie that attracted him. He pressed his lips to Jamie's and that light touch alone felt like he had burst into flame.

Jamie didn’t shrink away from the kiss. His heart was pounding, not with hesitation or fear, but with the desperate need and want of the kiss. He leaned into it, deepening it, and his hand slid to the back of Bill’s neck. While there was something in the back of his mind screaming at him to stop, to walk away and forget any of it ever happened, something else was screaming louder for him to keep going. His fingers stroked the back of his neck softly.

Lyric's lips parted, and he eagerly accepted the kiss. The adrenaline rush was more than anything he'd had in over a month now, and it was addictive. He was so unbelievably aware of the bits of physical contact they had, and his hand was itching to move. He couldn't think enough to decide whether to move it, though. Initiating contact wasn't second nature to him, and so he wasn't entirely sure what to do with the impulse. He knew what to do with his mouth, though.

Jamie kissed him hard, then more softly. Then the kisses came more urgently. His hands slipped down Bill’s shoulders, to his sides, where the rested on his waist. He was completely lost in the kiss. If he were standing up at that moment, his legs may have collapsed, but he wasn’t and they didn’t. His lungs began to ache for air, but he didn’t want to break the kiss.

Lyric wanted more adrenaline, more contact to shut his mind down completely. His lashes rose just enough to peek out, to intensify the thrill with that moment of visual affirmation. This was really happening, and he couldn't get enough! But with that glance, after his eyes had closed again part of him realized where they were. Oh, but that made it even more exciting! What if they were caught? The kiss deepened again as his hand rose, hovering close to Jamie's chest, silently debating in the seconds before it settled. He wanted more, and he had to break the kiss, just for a heartbeat, to ask. "Can we go somewhere else?" he asked in a gasp.

Jamie didn’t want that kiss to be broken. He barely heard the words spoken as he realized they were in a corridor. Anyone could’ve seen them. The usual fear gripped him, but he did his best to ignore it. There was only one thing he wanted now more than anything. His lips were buzzing, his head was spinning, and adrenaline was pouring through him. Jamie grabbed Bill’s hand and paused. He looked at him and raised an eyebrow as if to ask Are you sure? Will you be ok?

Lyric wasn't thinking. His body was on autopilot and all he could think was yes. He wanted to go on before the adrenaline faded, before nerves kicked in and fear replaced need. They were going to kiss again, weren't they? He nodded, then paused at a moment of dizziness before he pushed to his feet, concentrating on the strange contact of their hands. He wasn't used to it, but it was all focusing into physical excitement. His hazy eyes looked down at Jamie. Somewhere else, they seemed to say. Now.

Jamie didn’t miss a beat. His first instinct was to duck into the nearest classroom, but he was reminded of how easily anyone could barge in. His next thought was to go to the Room of Requirement. Without thinking anything else of it, Jamie began to move swiftly towards the Room of Requirement. He was only vaguely aware that he was still holding on to Bill. His mind was set on only one thing and it took a great amount of control to not just duck into an empty classroom. He was impatient, but he knew if he stopped for just a moment his mind would start taking control and fear along with it.
