"The Bloody Mary." Celyn didn't mind night clubs, it was just this one she didn't care about. It had so many restrictions that it wouldn't even be called a nightclub, but a 'kiddie indoor park'. "If your going to go just to dance then you'll have fun, alcohol is off limits so if that's a necessity in clubbing for you, then you should try London." Celyn didn't care much for alcohol. She had an fine wine with her parents when her dad or mom got a new job, and maybe she had a smoke on an occasion, but that was about it. "There isn't much here, I haven't even gone shopping yet for new clothes because I'm skeptical about the one shop I heard about." the clothes she had was fine, but she needed more for the warmer weather that was fast approaching. Was it really already April? Celyn didn't doubt the clothes, but she wasn't comfortable buying from a place she wasn't used to. Celyn got her things from the U.S, places she had been to on many occasions.

London. Alcohol wasn’t a necessity, although Verity wasn’t usually one to turn it down. It was nice to let loose once in a while. Verity had only been to London a handful of times to visit her aunt. It was then that she learned about manners and etiquette and how to be a lady. She also learned how much she hated being a part of the world where manners, etiquette, and learning how to be a proper lady was the most important thing. Another thing she learned was how to shop. “If you really want to go shopping, Milan is the place to go.” Verity said smiling. London shops were too average, Paris was overpriced, but still had poor quality. Milan had variety. New designers were popping up everywhere and most of the time, you got your money’s worth.

Celyn shrugged, so every time she wanted to go shopping she'd pop into Milan? Her dad was busy with St. Mungo's and her mom was busy with Celyn's little sister. There was no way they could just apparate her there and then pick her up later and Celyn wasn't even 17 yet for her to take the apparition test. "I don't think I'll be going to Milan anytime soon." it was the simplest response she had, she had been to Milan twice as a family vacation, but they never shopped, just took in the sites and they never stayed long enough to shop.

Verity easily forgot that most people in the world didn't have the freedom to travel anywhere they wanted to or to shop anywhere at anytime. Shopping was a favorite pastime for Verity, but it was terribly boring when she went by herself. "If you'd like to go sometime, I can arrange for Henry to take us." She realized after she said it, it sounded incredibly snobby. Henry was her father's tool and nothing less. "It really is an amazing experience." She added. She wasn't trying to show off or anything, but it was her attempt at making a new friend.

Celyn stopped herself from raising a brow. Celyn's father told her about purebloods and their expectations. Her father told her how even though they were purebloods, they shouldn't conform to such ideas. Her father's wealth did not come from his ancestors, but he worked for it. Why was she thinking this? She should be grateful for that offer. "I'll take you up on that offer." [/color] she promised herself she would attempt to socialize.[/blockquote]

Verity grinned. “When would you like to go?” She asked eagerly. Her mind was already planning out the day. It had been a few months since she had gone shopping and she was past due. She needed new clothes; new shoes to match her new clothes, new jewelry to accent her new shoes…She could hardly contain her excitement. Verity had to control her thoughts before she went insane. It was easy for her to get ahead of herself and go into the stuck-up snobby princess mode, though she tried hard not to.

It was so odd. Not a feeling she recognized and yet she still looked forward to doing this. This girl hadn't even asked Celyn about her blood purity or any of that crap and while usually she wouldn't make friends with people a lot like Verity, she wasn't so bad after all. "Honestly, I never do school work and stuff so whenever is convenient for you. I just need to owl my dad and stuff..." her dad would graciously send her a large sack of gold. She wasn't spoiled, but because she rarely asked for stuff her dad eagerly sent her whatever she asked for as long as it was reasonable.

Verity nodded. "How about Saturday?" That gave them three days to get whatever they need in order and an entire day to spend in Milan if they needed it. Verity needed to write Henry and make sure he would pick them up and make a stop at Gringotts for her. Verity was already mentally making of list of places they would stop at and what she needed. Of course, by needed she meant wanted. She technically didn't need to buy anything, but what fun was that?

Celyn nodded her head her lips breaking out into a smile. Celyn may not seem like the type who didn't enjoy shopping, but she dressed nicely and took care of her appearance. It was time to get out of her winter clothes and into clothes more fit for summer. "Saturday sounds cool. Should we meet up someplace? I'm positive our common room's aren't close and I doubt we would just run into each other." Celyn knew the school by the back of her hand, so she'd let Verity decide where they would meet up since the girl was new.

Verity’s eyes flashed with excitement. She twisted the bracelets on her wrist to keep from bursting. It was the first time she had something to look forward in a long time. “We could meet…” Verity paused. She barely knew the school, and Celyn was probably right about their Common Rooms. “…How about at the Entrance Hall? From there, I think we have to walk down to the gates anyways. My father’s tool, Henry, will pick us up from there.” Verity explained. Henry was pretty cool, even if he had been at her father’s beck and call for the past ten years.

Celyn cringed at the word tool, she couldn't help it. Verity didn't seem to follow the term the same way she made her father did and it brought her back to the countless discussions of purebloods she had with her dad. "Sounds good. I look forward to it and meeting this Henry." she made it obvious that she wasn't into the whole servant, chauffeur, butler, tool thing that purebloods seemed to be so proud of. Celyn was now even more proud of her parents.

Verity noticed that cringe and bit her lip. She needed to be more careful of her word choice. She was about to explain that Henry was more of a friend to Verity than anything else. She never had the chance to make good friends at the schools she went to because she was never there long enough. Henry had always been there, no matter what. Instead, Verity smiled and said “Right, I’ll see you in a few days, then! You’ll love Henry, he lots of fun.” She promised with a nod. Verity waved and turned to head back to the castle.

Celyn smiled to cover for the cringe, and the only response she had was a nod. She wouldn't judge Verity, maybe she meant her father saw him as a tool and Verity didn't. Or maybe Verity didn't know what her father meant by tool. Celyn didn't think of the possibilities, she wouldn't not judge and that was that. As Verity turned to walk away; Celyn stayed rooted to the spot taking in the last of the scenery before herself disappearing into the castle and back to her common room.
