Vannah's smirk spread into a grin. Yes. She wanted to feel the thrill of the fight again. She wanted to hex him, curse him, and charm him until he was barely strong enough to walk. It was for her own benefit, to prove she still could take someone bigger than herself. She had no doubt in her mind that she could do it, either. Her pride had gotten the best of her, to say the least.
As he stepped closer, she found herself having to look up at him slightly. He was only a couple of inches taller than she was, but she felt like she was a couple of feet shorter. Her eyes narrowed. "Why, are you scared?" She challenged. The rancid smell of the smoke filled the small space between them.

Lyric's lips curled into a sneer with just enough humor to border on smirking. "F~ing terrified," he said. His hand moved, and he turned the end of his burning cigarette into the side of her wrist, twisting it to put it out. Whatever mark it left would fade eventually. He tucked the rest of it into his pocket for later.

She cursed under her breath. Vannah winced at the burn on her wrist, but she only felt the sting for a few moments. Her first was balled up. She slid her wand out and kept it by her waist. She pointed it right at his crotch and said, "Furnunculus." Game on.

The sensation was too much, even with the false calm swimming in his veins. He had more issues with personal space than anyone on earth knew, and she'd just violated it in the worst possible way. He wasn't even aware of the hard placement of his hands against her, the shove back towards the chairs that he gave with all his strength. It happened in an instant, that and a vicious backhand before he turned to storm away, pushing chairs, desks, and children alike out of his way.

Vannah stumbled backward, but was stopped by a different table. She blinked, realizing what happened. She could hardly contain her enjoyment. "Figures." She said to his back as he began to walk out. She had the chance to see a flash of his expression as the curse it. "I suppose if I wanted a fight, I should try to a find a man next time." She said standing up straight. She was disappointed that he would give up so quickly, she had thought he'd be able to maybe make it ten minutes before cracking.

She could have picked any other curse, any other part of his body and he would have stayed to fight. The fact that she was a girl meant nothing, nor did her taunts. He walked out the door, letting it slam shut behind him.

Vannah grinned triumphantly. She ignored the frightened looks that the kids gave her. She stared at the door he had just slammed. Vannah headed back to her table, but the door knob turned. Dammit. Had it already been twenty minutes? She grabbed her bag and slid out of the room through a door that led into an abandoned corridor. She wasn't about to be stuck with that mess to explain.
