It had been weeks since she'd seen Lyric, Quinn was beginning to think that perhaps he'd run off. Then again, it had taken days to find him the last time she had been looking. This time however, she had something for him. It wasn't a small carved dragon, she had definitely gotten sick of those after carving so many of them while she attempted to shake off the after affects of what she and Lyric had done.
This time she had in her pocket a gift for him. She'd been talking to the other students about the valentines day cupids that had been wandering the halls for the last few days in preparation of valentines day. She'd asked around to see what it meant, and decided that perhaps she would express the sentiment to Lyric with a pair of concert tickets she had tucked into her pocket.

Xander unfolded his arms, reaching aside to prod his brother. He nodded down the corridor at the girl there and they shared a look. Ready? They didn't have any plans, but every time they saw her she looked lost. He didn't care where she was going. She was about to be interrupted.

Xavier nodded and unfolded his arms, too. Then they started walking, coming up behind her, then splitting to each take a side. He glanced at his brother over her head, and their mouths curved into identical smirks. "Are you lost little girl?" he asked, looking down at her.

The sudden voices to one side of her startled Quinn, she had been in her own world thinking about Lyric. Lyric and what it would be like to possibly see him outside of the school grounds. She looked up and saw a boy on her right, but felt something to her left as well. She turned her head that way and her eyes widened. "No, I'm just looking for someone. You're twins, I mean real twins, Markise and his sister don't look like twins." It reminded her of her sister, and she felt a deep pang in her heart at seeing them.

Xavier shared another glance with his brother, smirks widening into wolfish smiles. "You got a thing for twins?" he asked the girl. She was prettier than he'd thought from down the corridor. His hand reached up behind her to feel a lock of hair.

"You seeing anyone?" Xander asked, following his brother effortlessly. He reached up to push a bit of hair back from her face, his eyes taking her in. After a moment he glanced back up at his brother. She's cute.

Quinn's brows furrowed together at the quick two question bit, she knew she had a tendency to do it, but with the two of them, much taller than she crowding around her, she felt uncomfortable. A small shiver of terror shot down her spine at the thought of being crowded in by multiple guys. So far she hadn't met anyone that had truly given her chills, and she figured that she was just overreacting, so she told herself to answer their questions. "I had a twin sister." She closed her eyes briefly for a moment, even wondering if she could call what she and Lyric had someone, "and maybe."

Xander's look at his brother lasted longer this time, and the smirks faded in unison. The sharp look in their eyes remained. "Maybe means no," Xander said. "Where are you going?" He noticed she said had a twin, but that sounded depressing. They were here for a good time and that was it.

"He's right," Xavier said. "Guys don't do maybe. You're not looking for him, are you? Probably find him with someone else." He looked to his brother, who nodded in agreement. "Forget about him, that'll teach him a lesson."

Quinn blinked, unsure how to respond, she felt very unbalanced at the moment. "I am looking for him, I haven't seen him in a while." Which made her nervous after what had happened after she had come down, Lyric wasn't as normally upbeat as she was. She could take care of herself as well she thought, "he likes to hang out in the corridors." Quinn pushed strands of hair off of her face, she hadn't asked Lyric what he thought about them, it seemed like to much to ask when sometimes she wondered about the touching issue. "And the maybe is on my part," because he probably wasn't aware that she was becoming attached.

Xavier's eyes followed the girl's hand as it pushed back her hair again, and his own hand repeated the motion, lingering a moment against her temple. "He sounds like a jerk," he said softly.

Xander tilted his head, his eyes following his brother's fingers a moment before he looked down at the girl's face again. "You should let him go," he said. "Guys like that move on without even telling you." Guys like that. He sent his brother another laughing look.

Another shiver ran down Quinn's spine and she couldn't help the reflexive jerk of her head as it attempted to extricate his fingers from her hair. "Lyric wouldn't just move on," would he? She thought after that time, when he'd asked about money. She'd thought when he'd given her the hug, and she wished after what had happened. She knew she was getting attached to him, but she wanted to show him that things could work out for him, that not everyone would do whatever that nameless faceless person in his past had done.

Xander glanced at his brother again. The girl was flustered already. Too easy. "Are we talking about a guy or a girl?" he asked. Lyric was a girl's name. "Girls can be worse than guys, you know."

"Do you like guys?" Xavier asked. "Or just twins?" He met his brother's glance. If she was talking about her and another girl, they'd have to change tactics. That would be a far more interesting game.
