It actually sounded amazing, and if she didn't have to go to classes in a half hour or so she'd probably drag him off somewhere to show her something now. She grinned as she thought about it, "as long as it's not during school hours I'm available. Although my usual haunt is the library, I haven't been back for long, so you could pick where." She knew that she'd heard talk of stores that hadn't been in existence when she'd left, and she wouldn't mind seeing them, her mind wanted to absorb all of the possibilities.

"Um..." Silver loved hiding out in the library, but as few people as hung out there, there was still a chance of being overheard. He couldn't stand the thought of someone overhearing. "Or we could sit by the lake," he suggested, looking hopefully out at Willow from behind his hair. "Then we don't have to worry about getting on Madam Pince's bad side."

Willow's eyes rounded, "she's still alive? What is she doing, using a philosophers stone?" Madam Pince hadn't been young in Potter's day, and when she'd been here as a young student it had been even worse. Her temper was quick as well. "I hadn't been back to the library yet." She thought about the lake and smiled thinking that was where she had met him after all, it seemed apropos. "The lake sounds great, I love seeing it just as spring breaks it's hold over winter."

Silver wanted to write that down, even if it had been said before a hundred ways. It was times like this he wished he had Dare's talent for drawing. He'd sketch her in his notebook and write poetry in between looking at her face. She had such beautiful eyes. And Silver hair, he reminded himself, his lips curving slightly at the irony all over again. "Um, so when?" he asked. "I mean, I'm not in a hurry or anything, but..." He forgot the topic of the librarian entirely.

Willow mentally evaluated her schedule, "the only classes I'm not in are Divination, Care of Magical Creatures, and Herbology." She'd probably be in the library for the rest of the week just catching up on things. "I don't know how much free time that leaves me aside from the weekends." She chuckled, "I wish I could take them all, but it just wasn't physically possible to fit them all in and still get my homework done. I'd say Friday, but if I had extra time in between classes I'd probably be thinking about it then."

Silver's brows drew together. "So... next week or something?" he asked, his heart sinking. He'd hoped to do it later, or even tomorrow, but if she was that busy. He tried to convince himself that it wasn't a polite blow-off. She really had seemed interested. He started thinking back to everything he'd said, trying to find someplace where he'd gone wrong. "I... I'm sorry, I don't want to bother you or anything." He didn't have to make it difficult for her to get away.

There was a hint of hesitation in his voice, and she wanted to stop that, she hadn't meant anything other than she had no idea when she would be available. "No, don't be sorry, I really do want to me you and read your poetry." She stopped walking for a moment and turned to face him, her hand up in the air, "I swear," she said as solemnly as she could.
"I just meant I don't know when I'll have free time." She smiled a bit coaxingly, hoping to see that little smile again, "If you don't mind I could meet you on my lunch break today or tomorrow. Just most people like to hang out with a group of friends for lunch, and," she glance away for a moment before looking back, "I didn't want to intrude. In case you were eating with your brother or something." She couldn't say she'd see him in class, because she wasn't sure if they had classes together.

Silver's heart stopped for a moment. Then he took a quick breath. "No, I don't know where he hangs out. I mean, we'll be at the same table, right? Or... or out by the lake. At lunch," he clarified, as though it really needed clarifying. "I could like, get a couple of my books. Or just one, I mean, if you don't have a lot of time." He shut his mouth before he could speak any more stupidity.

"Let's play it by ear. If I have the time I'll stay and read everything you bring me," her smile turned into a soft laugh, "you might even have to write more books worth to fill the time. But if I have to go, then I can." Willow felt the sun shining down on the back of her neck where she was standing, and she pulled her hair to one side of her neck, exposing the length of it, to try and alleviate some of the heat on her neck as she watched Silver's reaction. "Maybe if we have a few classes together I could look at them then too."

Silver nodded, hopefully not as eagerly as he felt. "Yeah, that'd be nice," he said, smiling lightly again. "I'll like, go pick them up." And probably spend his free period poring through them to find just the right things to show her later. After he'd written a poem or two for her, but he didn't need to show her those. He didn't think he could take the kind of accidental rejection he'd gotten from Annabelle again. And Willow was so beautiful.

Willow smiled as she noted to herself that it was probably time for her to get to class. She smiled, "sounds brill, it's a date," she looked down the corridors as students started to file down them. "I've got to go or I'll be late for Transfiguration, and I hear the professor is really creative with her lessons." She'd heard whispers about pygmy puffs being passed out. She pushed her hair out of her face, and gave a small wave, "I'll see you at lunch then."

Silver managed to smile again and raised one large hand for a brief wave goodbye. "Yeah, see you then," he echoed. He wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to pause time so he'd have longer to prepare or skip ahead so he wouldn't have as long to worry about how things would go. He didn't have a time-turner though, so he hiked his book bag higher onto his shoulder and headed down another corridor toward the Ravenclaw Common Room and the dormitory.
