"Oh, ah... thank you," Silver said, taking the extra book. He had eight now, and still two more to find for private reading. He didn't know what he'd do with a book on mallowsweet since he wasn't even in Divination, but it seemed easier than arguing with her. She was painfully persistent. "So, um, thank you for helping and everything," he tried. Hopefully she'd forgotten the other books he'd had on his list. He was fine escaping with these and coming back for the others later.

Quinn frowned at him, "you know, usually I chase people off for a legitimate reason, but I can't think what I've done with you." She knew that she shouldn't worry so much about it, but it was bothering her, and something was itching in the back of her head, something she just couldn't put a finger on. "Yet, everytime I've seen you, which granted isn't often, you're trying to get away. Did I do something?"

The look on Silver's face could only be described as stricken. He knew he hadn't been as nice to her as he could have been, and he wasn't proud of himself, but he didn't want to talk to her! He'd done as well as he knew how to get away from her gently. And when gentle didn't work, he'd had to run. He shook his head. "I just... I'm really busy," he tried. It felt wrong to even contemplate telling someone that they annoyed him.

Quinn nodded, "okay, I don't mean to bother you." She smiled a little bit, even though she was rather unhappy inside, "maybe I'll catch you some time when you aren't so busy." And maybe in the mean time she'd find out what was really going on. She figured since she was going to visit Markise anyways, maybe he knew who this was, or could give her a hint to how she actually knew him, cause she felt like she really did know him from before the forest.

Silver gave a brief nod, though he intended to be busy as much as possible in the near future. Maybe he'd learn to climb trees like Dare. Surely there was less of a chance of being caught in the forest if he was in a tree, right? Silver sighed at himself and made his apologies before hurrying off to the librarian's desk to check out his collection of books.
