Brenna had been walking outside. She was glad to be back at school. Life at home was getting to complicated and heavier each day. The secret she had promised to keep for the sake of her family was burning a hole in her chest.
At some point Brenna had wondered aimlessly into the Forest. She was curious to know what all of the hype was about, but didn't dare to go into it too deeply. Suddenly, she had lost track of which tree was which and how to get out. All of the trees and landmark looked the same to her. She felt like she was going in circles and panic was attacking her.

Ryan was sitting in the forest relaxing when he heard someone near by. He got up and looked around "Who's there?" he called out trying to see who it was.

Brenna heard a voice from somewhere. She hadn't recognized it and so she slipped in between some trees she thought my lead her out. After she got away, she decided to have a seat by one of the trees. Her legs were getting tired and she didn't appear to be getting anywhere.

Ryan walked around and found the person he was looking for and walked up to her "hey Brenna" he said softly looking at her.

Brenna jumped and her head shot in the direction of the voice. "Oh, Ryan!" She said, letting out a sigh of relief. "Eet ees you." She said standing up. "I wasn't sure 'oo was there. Your voice 'ad frightened me." Brenna brushed the dirt off of her her.

"I've been glad to be back 'ere." Brenna replied. "Eet ees so much prettier 'ere than home." She said, "Eexzept for ze forest, of course." Brenna added with a gigle. "'Ow 'ave you been?"

"Really?" Brenna asked. "I bet it can't be too bad." She said trying to comfort him. She slid back down so she was sitting at the trunk of the tree next to him.

Brenna put her hand on his. "Eet will be okay. I know." She said. She was curious, but decided not to pry. She heaved a sigh. Things always seemed to be complicated.

"Eet ees no problem." Brenna said smiling. "Why are you out 'ere, anyways?" She asked jestering to the forest. "Eet eesn't exactly an ideal place."

"I was curious. It was not my plan to come thees far, though." Brenna said. "And maybe I should go back soon. You never know who might be looking for me." She said. It had appeared that her accent may have gotten thicker over the time off.
