Boring He told himself. Who cared about Advanced magic, it was already taught in school, which he planned on skipping, he'd leave the studying to his younger brother. The sound of a child blowing the school made him scowl, younger students were always so stupid.
"If that is it, then I best be leaving, but I thank you for this." he said pointing at the book. He could tell all she wanted was to be alone, he wouldn't deprive her of that right. He walked towards the door and stopped just before opening the door.
"You will be open, the next time I come here?" it was more of a question than a statement, he wasn't going to drag himself to Diagon Alley and have to go through the same thing. He could always send for his father to owl him a few books if he got bored.

"I'm usually open after classes in the afternoon and on the weekends. You can always send me an owl if you miss me and I'll be sure to get whatever you need." Despite not being in a good mood, Anna knew that she needed all her customers, and she needed to continue to offer the services she always had. It wouldn't be good to close up the shop for a week or two no matter how badly she wanted to.
Annabelle walked over the counter and rang him up for the purchase. "Thank you, would you like a bag Mr....." She realized that she hadn't even gotten the name of the student she was conducting business with, and wouldn't recognize who he was if he did send an owl requesting other books.

"Zane, just Zane." the thought of being called mister made him internally cringe, while Zane was good with formalities he wasn't too keen on them when it came to names, he preferred being known by his first name rather than his last.
"I thank you Ms...?" he didn't recall getting her name, maybe it was at the front of her store somewhere, but he didn't bother to check earlier, to angry with being ignored.
Zane didn't go any farther, he went to stand at the door, his finger twisting the knob and pushing the door open, the cool air was quite refreshing. He turned to look at her, still waiting for an answer, how else coudl he address his letter, he most definitely wasn't going to right 'Bookstore Lady' that was just... wrong.

"Annabelle Hennessy." She replied, practicing good business etiquette by using her full name instead of what her friends called her. She continued her polite mask at the register, waiting for him to leave so she could lock up and bolt to her dorm room. She couldn't think of anything she wanted more than a hot shower and more sleep.
