Potions

Michael sighed heavily and nodded. Grey wouldn't know how to deal with Dare, how could he, when Michael didn't even know? It seemed like he was going to have to depend more on Markise, or just run with his instincts...whatever they were. "He knows he's not getting any potions back, I think all I can do right now is just stay with him and try to help when I can."

Grey inclined his head lightly in agreement before offering whatever else he could. "Stay strong, Michael. Don't let yourself get dragged down. Don't let yourself worry about the future so much that you can't work through the present. One problem at a time."

Michael nodded again as he looked down at his ring, then towards the potion bottles. "I know these aren't yours, but would you take them anyway?" At least Grey would probably know how to get rid of them to where no one could use them or anything. Besides, he didn't really want to talk about the problem anymore.

Grey nodded. "I'll take them," he said. He couldn't sell them, but he could dispose of them. Perhaps even find out who was dealing out such large amounts of potions for such an extended amount of time. "I'm glad you stopped by, Michael."

Michael nodded and gave a small smile. "I didn't know who else to go to." He pushed himself up to stand and turn to go, but stopped and put his hand up to the back of his neck. "As of now, we're engaged," he said, looking at the potions. He didn't think that anything would be able to keep it from happening, no matter how many times he thought about it happening. "And...if you could, I would be honored if you would come to the ceremony."

Grey nodded and accepted the invitation with his congratulations. It felt somewhat bittersweet, considering the circumstances, but Grey let Michael go with his assurances that with time and personal strength things would work out for the best.
