Dominic came through the outskirts of the forest. It was late and the sky was dark, a very deep blue, the stars shown bright and the nearly full moon was a strange orange color. Very little light broke through the thick trees and Dominic lit his wand so he wouldn't trip over the gnarled roots and broken limbs. After walking for a while, he found a tree he had seen before, with roots slightly in the shape of a seat, and he slumped down into it, turning the light from his wand off and letting his eyes adjust to the darkness.

Tifa weaved her way around the trees avoiding all creatures, she felt the air lighten up and sped up knowing she was almost out of the forest. She saw a wand light and it immediately went out she stood where she was not knowing who the person was, she pulled out her wand and aimed it at the person who had their back to her.
"Expelliarmus." she hissed under her breath hoping that it was a enemy so she coudd could stun them and make her way quickly into the castle.

Dominic spun around as his wand flew, nearly tripping though his eyes had slightly adjusted. "What the..." he stopped when he saw who was holding the wand. He couldn't tell in the dark, but maybe, just maybe. "Tifa?" he asked cautiously, forgetting his wand for a moment, he wasn't sure, but something inside, along with the way the figure held itself, gave him reason to believe.

Tifa frowned for a moment at the voice and emerged from behind the tree’s. She lit her wand and gasped as she dropped it to the floor realizing who it was.
“D..Dominic?” she said out loud she picked up her wand and pointed it at his.
“Accio.” She said as it came soaring towards her and threw it to him.
“I’m sorry.” She said, walking closer to him smiling.
Her heart was pounding faster as she slowly crept towards him still unsure.

His return to Hogwarts just wasn't right without a good trip to the Forbidden Forest. Tom had sneaked out of the castle into the forest a few minutes before, and he had avoided a few spiders, sliced up a branch that was trying to snag his nose, and greeted a centaur before he heard voices. Other Hogwarts kids in the forest? He had thought he was one of the only ones crazy enough. Quickly he decided to approach this in a different way than usual. He leapt up and grabbed a branch, pulled himself into a tree, and, since the trees were thick around here, scrambled quietly from tree and ended up very near where the voices were. He could now see, by their lit wands, that it was Tifa and a boy he didn't recognize, but apparently Tifa did.
His wand was out, but it was always out in this forest. Instead of staying there and watching (he'd be discovered sooner or later, probably), he swung down and hung off a tree with his left arm, saying, "Thought I was the only one dumb enough to wander around here for no reason."

"It, it's fine," he stuttered, looking at her. He re-lit his wand and studied her face, it had been so long. He stretched out a finger and touched her cheek softly. "Where did you go?" he paused, "...why did you go?" he asked, before jumping slightly as a boy swung down from the tree above. Looking up, he glared, "Who are you?" he demanded, angry that someone had interrupted them.

Tifa smiled as he touched her check until someone’s voice startled her she spun around her heart beating faster she spun towards the source of the voice with her wand pointed directly at him.
“Tom what is wrong with you, you scared me.” She said putting her wand down and stepping back from him.
“Honestly next time your out for a stroll please tell me I was about to hex you.” She said stowing her wand beneath her robes.

"Oh I know," he said when she said she was about to hex him. "That's why I have this out." He held up his own wand. "When you jump out at people in here it hits on your reflexes." Then he paused. It had been so dark he hadn't noticed, but now they seemed a little annoyed as if he had just walked in on something personal. Just then a snake swung down from a branch near Tifa's head and hissed. Tom shot a curse at it and it hissed loudly, flying off into the distance. "Sorry if I interrupted. I suggest doing these midnight romance things out of danger, though. Should I go then?"

Tifa rolled her eyes and grinned.
"But still it could have been two Death Eaters and I'm sure they wont just hex you." she said rolling her eyes.
Tifa looked down at the snake and rolled her eyes again.
"Always playing the hero Tom." she said smiling.
"Oh come on you were just in there yourself and besides I've been in there plenty of times I know my way around." Tifa shrugged at his question to leave.
"If you wish it."she said.

Dominic watched the exchange and narrowed his eyes, wondering exactly who the other boy, Tom, was. "I for one wouldn't mind if you left," he said, glaring. His eyes darted to Tifa, wishing he could just talk to her, though it seemed like the interruption didn't bother her in the slightest. Crossing his arms and spreading his legs, he kept his light towards Tifa, taking in everything, but wondering. His eyes began to slowly change colors from his natural deep brown to his preferred green.

Tifa smiled at Tom and nodded her head and turned towards Dominic she took his hand to try to reassure him that her relationship with Tom was only friendship and said softly.
"It's alright." she said to Dominic and turned back to Tom.
"Tom how about I'll see you inside later, alright?" she said smiling.

The feel of Tifa's hand in his calmed Dominic slowly, and slowly his eyes stopped changing, staying at a cool green. He gripped her hand, remembering the feel of her, but continued to watch the other boy, ready for him to leave them alone. He kept quiet, leaning closer to her, though he subtly turned his wand closer to Tom.

Tom heard Tifa's polite go-away-you're-intruding signal, and noticed Dominic's wand point slighlty toward him. His first instict was to point back, but he knew that if Dominic tried to curse him, there would be a lot more warning than a twitch and he'd be able to block it.
"I guess I'm dismissed then," he said cheerily. "See ya." He dropped down from the branch, morphed into a big gold-haired dog, and trotted off into the forest.

Dominic watched the boy leave and stared at the space where he had ran through the trees, then turned to Tifa. "Who was he?" he asked, a hint of jealousy in his voice despite Tifa's calming hand and a wary eye turned to where Tom had disappeared.

She laughed at the dog and turned back to Dominic smiling. "He's a friend from the Order of the Phoenix." she said smiling. She stepped closer to Dominic looking up into his green eyes emotions overwhelming her and she buried her face in his chest.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, please don't be mad, if you never want to talk to me I understand." she pulled away from him trying to read his expression.
