Michael blinked and looked down, that was really all that they had, wasn't it? "We were thinking of putting an invitation in the Daily Prophet," he admitted, that thought bringing a light sparkle to his eyes as he looked at Dare. He could only imagine the reactions he would get when the people that had tried so hard to pull them apart read the invitation.

Dare nodded in agreement. "It's at the school, so if someone wanted to come we wouldn't want to keep them away. It'd mean..." He paused a moment before pointing out what was likely obvious by the picture the Headmistress was looking at. "It'd be after curfew, though. And we're really set on night." He hoped that wouldn't be too much. She still hadn't officially said yes yet, so any little thing might turn their luck back.

"An invitation in the prophet?" Asked Hells, slightly taken back by the suggestion and missing completely what Dare had continued on with. It was the last thing she was expecting them to say. "Isn't that asking for trouble? Or is this whole ceremony to prove a point?" She wasn't sure if she had misconstrued what they had said, but it alarmed her slightly that they hadn't thought of that possibility. "I am not saying you have no right to go ahead and do that, but the fact that your relationship has had so much bad press over recent months, do you honestly want others to think this is a whole charade?"

Michael looked up at the headmistress at that, he certainly hadn't considered that it could cause problems. Sure, he had thought of the fact that it would just prove to those jerks that had hurt them that nothing had stopped them. But mostly he had been thinking of the fact that they had acquaintances, and that had been the main objective. They wanted to get the people that they didn't see on a daily or weekly basis an invitation to go.

Dare's eyes widened. "No, no, we didn't mean it like that. We just... we don't know who else would come." He looked aside at Michael with creased brows and saw that he was thinking along similar lines. The idea of an open announcement or invitation was suddenly a lot less appealing. Dare turned his gaze back to the Headmistress then. "That's not what we want. We just..." There were so few people to share this with that it left wide open reminders of those they'd lost and how isolated they'd become. Dare gave Michael's hand another squeeze. "We're still figuring all this out."

Hells let out a sigh of relief. Although they seemed mature about their decision making, they still had much to learn, especially outside the walls of Hogwarts. "We have plenty of time until the Summer. Write a list of all those you would like to invite and send them a card. I think that would keep this affair much more personal, rather then have mainly guests who have come to spite." She smiled warmly, handing back the idea's. "Other then that, I can't see a reason as to why this cannot go ahead. Have you thought about you will hold the ceremony? I'm not sure, of the top of my head, who would agree to this but I expect you have thought of that too.."

Michael shook his head, realizing how much more work they needed to do. "No, we thought we should make sure you'd let us before we did anything else." They would have to work to think of all the people they could invite, how many people they actually thought would come. The stress was becoming more obvious as the conversation went on, and he wondered how they were going to be able to do it all.

Dare nodded. "We've been looking through what we can do, but there's a lot to go through before we get to that." They were still deciding what they wanted. Then they could figure out how to get it. Dare was suddenly grateful for that ridiculous wedding book they had. There wasn't anyone they'd be able to ask about how to plan a... ceremony.

Hells nodded. "Well, let me know obviously so I am aware who will be coming on to school grounds. However, I think this can go ahead. If you want me to get it ready for you I can, just give me the date, times and plans when you're ready and if you wish to oversee the decor then no problem. Have you any more questions?" She asked, even though it was she that asked most of them.

Michael shook his head and looked over at Dare for confirmation. He was amazed that everything had gone so smoothly, without any negativity other than the comments about the idea of putting an invitation in the Prophet. "I don't think so," he said, eyes still on Dare. It seemed like they were going to have what they wanted.

Dare's gaze held on Michael's a moment longer, his brows arched with surprise and maybe even anticipation. Then he turned back to the Headmistress, shaking his head slightly. "No, not now. If we think of something, though..." They had a million more questions, but nothing the Headmistress could help them with. "Thank you," Dare finished. Thank you so much. This had to have been the easiest thing their relationship had ever met with.

Smiling, Hells stood up from her desk and held out her hand to shake both of theirs. "Just keep in mind that you may get plenty of backlash from this. There are still many out there that don't agree with the idea of your relationship. Try not to take it to heart." Easier said then done, she thought to herself, but seeing as the pair had made it this far, she was sure they were strong enough to continue. "I do wish you all the best of luck. I suppose I'll have to buy myself a hat now too!"
