Ariel didn't shift towards or away from Markise, though they were still close enough for him to appreciate how good it was to be back with Markise and not the business man or, he shivered slightly, the larger, hairy man. He sighed and moved deeper into the bed and blankets, then tucked one arm underneath his pillow. He was out in minutes.

Markise was much the same. He lay sprawled on his back, one arm curled around his head on the pillow, the other light at his side so that his hand curved low over his abdomen. He could have curled up against Ariel, but he didn't have time to think about it before he fell asleep. He'd sleep as long as Ariel would let him, too. He didn't have anything better to do for the next nine hours or so.

Ariel didn't know how long he slept, he knew only that it was longer than the few hours he was used to calling a good night's sleep. He yawned and stretched, glad to note that the pain was gone other than a dull ache that came every so often. It wasn't enough to count so he ignored it and just let himself relax in the bed that somehow reminded him of his old one back in his and his brother's little house.

Markise wasn't a morning person, and it took him quite a while to wake up sometimes, especially after a week of little sleep. Especially after a day's sickness, self-induced or not. He only surfaced a bit at the motion beside him, but it was enough to make him move, to have him shifting lightly toward the extra heat nearby. Markise made a soft, sleepy noise of pleasure at pressing against it, and he lay his arm lightly across Ariel's chest, wrapped one leg unknowingly against Ariel's warmer one.

Ariel didn't shift away, instead he looked down and sighed. He repositioned one arm underneath his pillow and the other dropped around Markise by some habit he was beginning to form. Then he let himself think about what had happened for really the first time. He hadn't enjoyed it, all in all, though he could admit that it would be a lie to say there hadn't been any of it that he enjoyed. His eyebrows came together and he stared up at the ceiling.

Markise had dreamed strange dreams during the night, things he didn't understand or want to face. He thought, if it could be considered thinking at all with his mind so hazy, that just a bit more of that floating oblivion against Ariel's sleep-heated skin would be bliss. He moved closer at the warm arm so comfortable around him, nestling into Ariel. He didn't want to wake up, and so he let himself drift, sleep washing over him again.

Ariel's mind moved then to the full money pouch in his coat pocket. More money than he had ever had at one time. Definitely more money than his brother would ever have given him. He wondered how long he could make it last and then, how long would it last. That thought led to a dangerous one, because once the money was gone, then that would be it. There wasn't any way he would do it again.

Markise didn't move again for quite some time. The room was quiet, and he was incredibly comfortable, despite the less-than-new mattress. Eventually though, he began to surface on his own, and as he woke, he thought absently about how different it felt than usual. He stretched languidly, then settled again, letting his mind wander as it slowly began to work. Why was he sleeping nude? This wasn't the time of year, and what if one of the other guys randomly opened his curtains?

Ariel sighed heavily, he was getting tired of waiting, and his mind had been going around in meaningless circles for a long time already. He tilted his head down at Markise, hope shining in his eyes when Markise stretched, then dying when he settled himself back into the bed. Ariel rolled his eyes then paused a moment before starting to move his hand over Markise's back.

Mmm, Markise hummed, arching his back lightly into that caress. It took him a moment to put together the pieces, and then his eyes opened halfway. He blinked as he looked across Ariel's chest, across unfamiliar blankets, and he remembered. He'd certainly never done this before. Markise stretched again, more purposefully this time as he slid his leg against Ariel's. This was a very comfortable way to wake up.

Ariel shifted at that and moved his hand more purposefully against Markise's back. He liked the motion of the leg against him and shifted his own to encourage it. He didn't consider that he had had much more than his fair share the past couple of days, he just knew that it felt very good and he wouldn't mind staying in bed a little longer before going back to school later in the day.

Markise didn't spare a thought for the last time they'd been together. He was mostly awake now, and there was no way he could turn down an opportunity like this. When would they ever do this again? Markise took his time waking up, savoring the fact that there was no rush right now, the fact that his muscles were warm and heavy from sleep. He tipped up his chin, his lashes falling almost completely shut as he asked wordlessly for a kiss.

Ariel only paused for a moment before tilting his head down enough to meet Markise's lips. He shifted to bring his other hand around to Markise's side and run along his ribcage. He loved how it felt to be able to kiss him again and without the distracting exhaustion of the night before. The relaxation of the night's sleep showed through in the easy motions of his lips.

Markise gave a low hmm of pleasure, more than content to continue as they'd begun. He wondered if they could have their unusual intensity and keep the slow ease of it, too. Normally he wanted to go on, to take more, but right now, with his body still waking and his mind already hazy from sleep, he wanted to float on. His hand slid down to that incredible spot on Ariel's hip and he moved his fingers lightly against it, waiting for Ariel to take it further.

Ariel sighed in content and shifted his hips toward Markise. He was happy to keep going as they were, with the slow and easy pleasure of the kiss and touches. There had been enough of the rough intensity the night before to last him a while. If Markise wanted to keep it slow, Ariel would oblige. His hand moved down the line of Markise's body, down his side, over his hip, then lightly running along his thigh.
