Come out and Play (Chase & Anna)

Anna breathed a noticeable sigh of relief. She was as clueless when it came to wizarding households as wizards were of muggle ones. Just because she went to a wizarding school didn't mean she had a clue about how they normally ran their lives. "I'm glad. I wish I'd learned more about wizarding families. I think I might pick up that study again soon." She wanted to ask him for information, but wasn't sure yet if that was a good idea. He seemed to be protective of his personal life and his parents seemed to be a touchy subject. Anna decided it would be best to wait it out and test the waters before she tried to pick his brain.

Chase gave a noncommittal hm at that. It wasn't anything unexpected for Anna to want to research something to death--hell, that was how he'd met her--but he couldn't for the life of him think of anything interesting enough about wizarding families for her to want to study them. "Whatever plucks your phoenix," he said. He couldn't think of where she'd find whatever it was she wanted to know, but he was sure there weren't any books about it in the library.

Annabelle let a shy smile creep over her lips. She knew it was a near obsession she had with researching whatever crossed her mind, but she loved searching for knowledge. Some at the school understood her need, few others shared it. More of her fellow classmates didn't understand how she could enjoy reading or studying, especially not for pleasure. It was a good feeling that crossed over her, knowing that he wasn't going to make fun of her for it now that things between them were, well, more.
