"Mmhm," Brindle hummed, nodding lightly. She didn't feel much like talking about people anymore. She'd gotten to dislike them too, especially since the attack. She didn't want to be angry right now, didn't want to dwell on things she couldn't change, like people's minds. "So what is there to do around here?" Besides sneak off to London for my lessons? she finished silently.

"Unless you really like being outside, there's just the club," Michael said. There really wasn't that much to do, and soon enough it wasn't going to be fit to go outside anyway, no matter how much he liked the outdoors. But he could definitely stand staying at the club more during the winter, considering Dare worked there. While he knew he couldn't do it all the time, couldn't stay with Dare in the booth, it was still good to know that if he wanted to, there was something he could do.

Brindle did like being outside, but she wasn't used to having so much time alone. She considered the club, a sure sign of desperation since she had no one to go with besides her brother. She knew he'd want to go though, and likely enough that he wouldn't mind her going with him. It was a sad thought that the idea wasn't easily rejected. "Well, I'll make due somehow," Brindle said. "Do you go to the club much?" Michael didn't look like the clubbing type, but then, he was with Dare, so there was no telling.

"Not often, but I go when I can. My ex runs it and Dare works there, so I'll go and hang out with him sometimes." Dru had been lenient about their first little mess-ups and let him come back, something Michael was very glad for. He liked being in that little booth with Dare, even though he never stayed for too long just in case he started being too distracting.
