Vannah had just come from the Hospital Wing. She ran into the Forest. She didn't stop when she got to her usual clearing, but kept on going deeper. She was oblivious to whatever calls may have followed her there. Vannah tripped over a root and fell to her knees sobbing. Not because she tripped, but because she almost got it all back and watched it slip away again.

Larten ran after her . " Vannah ! " he yelled threw the woods . He followed a path of beaten plants and found her on the ground "Vannah " he said lightly putting his arm around her " Shhh...Its...Its " he couldn't say its alright cause its not . Not for him , for her, for anyone that was just in the hospital wing . He wanted to cry to for some odd reason . Maybe because he figured out what Savannah meant..." I'm here for you Vannah " he said confronting her .

"I'm so confused." Vannah said between cries. "I don't know who to believe. He said he'd never love her like he loved me. But he didn't even say anything! Not then, not when she's there. God, I hate her!" She said not pulling away from him. She was comfortable there, but she couldn't stop crying.

Larten nodded . His thoughts where true . He held back his tears and keep comforting her . He didn't know what to do . " I'm confused to " he said while hugging her " There getting married...Savannah...I don't ....Just do what you think is best " he said softly trying to maintain his composure .

Thoughts began to flood through her mind. She's just a kid. He'll never marry her. She's nothing but the rebound girl. It will never work out. He'll come crawling back...Maybe it was stupid. Maybe it wasn't right, but she wanted to believe it would be right so badly. Vannah took a deep breath. "You're right." She finally said. "He's going to marry her." The words were heavy even after they were said and the realization of it all hit her so hard.

Larten sighed and looked at her " I ....Vannah...I know i just met you...But..I...I love you " he knew it was bad before he said it . She loved Ryan and he knew what she was going to do . She was going to get up and smack him and run away and then leave him in here...

Vannah buried her head in her hands. This was all too complicated for her. Her tears stopped flowing. She realized how hard it must have been for him to listen to her go on about how much she loved Ryan. "Oh, Larten..." She groaned. It was muffled from her hands. She lifted her head and looked at him. "I--I don;t...I can't...I don't know what to say." She couldn't say I love you back to him. She didn't, not really. Not yet. She didn't even really know him. She loved Ryan.

Larten knew she shouldent have said it " Sorry...Umm.." he looked down . Did he fall in love to easily ...He knew she loved Ryan . " God im stupid...Im sorry for throwing this all on you ..." he said laying back on the ground . What was he going to do . He knew she loved Ryan ....He had refrained from using Legimns and he is . But it could tell him . No ...No you love her and your not going to do it " Vannah...Do what you think is best ....If you don't want to see me again im fine with that...But i will always have feelings for you if you go off with Ryan...I know you love him ...Ha what was i thinking that you just might love me " he said looking up into the sky.

Vannah looked down. "Don't do that. Please don't put this on yourself." She said biting her lip. She wanted to say something, anything, to comfort him. "I do love him. But he can't pull himself together. He doesn't know what he wants. It was different with him. I never really did love anyone before him. It could change, you know." Vannah said hoping to cheer him up. "But it's just--Well, think about it. You barely know me and I don't know you."

Larten nodded with everything she said . She was right . " Ok...." he said when she finished " Vannah...Can i kiss you " he asked sitting up so they where face to face .

Vannah put her hand on his chest holding him back. "Maybe we should just talk for now." She said calmly not wanting to start anything again or to let him down too harshly.

Larten nodded and layed back down on the ground " So..." he said looking at her beutiful hair . " What are we going to do " he asked ...It was the question of the day really . What where they going to do . Sit there and talk . Larten knew if Ryan chose Vannah he was a past fling she had with some boy .

Vannah turned her body and laid down so her head was on his stomach. "Where are you from?" She started. This was something she rarely did. Just sit and talk. She didn't know where to begin exactly, but she figured small would be a good place start.

"Galway in Ireland was where I was born. But my adoptive parents lived in England." Vannah said. "But my parent's house is still owned by my father in Ireland. It's abandoned. He doesn't live there. Hasn't for years. Nobody's really seen him." Vannah had never had the chance to meet him and she used to hate him for it. "But sometimes I would stay there." That was when she met Adrian. A whole other drama.
