"A Slytherin that loves muggle music?" Dru asked. So yeah, Chase liked muggle things, but the way this guy acted said he was just a typical Slytherin pureblood jerk that thought muggles were the devil. She ignored his apology, words meant nothing, actions were what mattered/

Larten looked at her and smiled . " Yes i like there cars and there little ipod things ...." he said smiling " Hey i know what would cheer you up " He stood and walked up the creeking stairs the the top of the place . He got one of the cats that was stuck up there . " Hey ...I got you something " he said . He had cleaned up the cat so it looked brawn new . It was black with dakr yellow eyes . He handed her to Dru and awaited her reaction .

Dru raised her eyebrow again and let the cat sit on the armrest, free to leave if it so chose. "You're trying, I'll give you that. But first impressions are hard to live down," she said, part warning. She looked away from him and focused on the cat, scratching wherever it turned its head for her.

Larten smiled and shrugged " Hey its worth it " he said smiling . He looked around " Umm...Here " he waved his wand and a boqeut of roses appear and there leaves are shaped so they say " Im sorry " . Larten hoped this would work . " Im so sorry. Please give me a second chance . " he said giving her some cute puppy dog eyes .

"Wow, you really are-" she stopped herself finishing the sentence, she wouldn't say that he was pathetic. "Just staying here is a second chance, no? If I wasn't willing to let you dig your way out of the hole I'd have left." Dru leaned towards him, "I'm not a flower person," she said, smirking, then settled back in the chair.

Larten knew what she was going to say even without his technique . He looked at her and smiled " Are you a ....Music person " he waved his wand a smooth hymn sounded out of no where. " Or a movie person " he said and waved his wand a TV appeared with a movie called " Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince " ( The irony ) . " It hasn't even come out yet " he said with a smile .

Dru rolled her eyes, "You're trying much too hard." She looked away from him and the television he had apparently just conjured. But Dru knew the laws of conjuring and transfiguration, she had a private smile at the thought of some poor muggle family whose TV had suddenly disappeared while they were watching it.

Dru rolled her eyes again and followed him, he reminded her quite a bit of a guy she had once known, and hated with a passion. She only followed him because she was bored, she had nothing else to do for once, and she couldn't concentrate enough to read or write. "Are you sure you're a sixth year?" she asked, leaning against the door frame and crossing her arms.

Larten smiled and looked around " Nah im a first year " he said joking " Now im sorry....I want to be friends " he said getting some hair out of his face and walking up to her " Hey you wanna go to the lake . Its warm outside and beutiful " he asked with a smile then giving her puppy dog eyes .

Dru stopped herself from immediately turning him down and considered it for a second. She hadn't been down to the lake in a while, and suddenly the urge to swim was irresistible. "Let's go," she said, turning away from him before she could change her mind and starting down the stairs.
