Going to a familar place

Ryan walked into the room of requirement and smiled as he looked around. It had turned into the park that he always used to walk through at home when he took his walks. He walked around and sat on one of the benches as he looked up at the beautiful night sky.

Mari was was walking down the halls humming to herself. She passed a massive wooden door and had to double-back. A grin spread across her face. Yes!, she thought, I found it again!. The Room of Requirement had been one of her favorite places at Hogwarts before she left. Quite a few memories her mother would disapprove of were engraved in their walls.

Mari opened the handle of the door and stepped inside to find it already in use. "Hello?" She called not meaning to close the door as loudly as she had.

Ryan heard a voice and looked at the door and saw a girl he had never met before. "Hello there" he called out.

Mari move towards the guy. Whens he squinted she recognized him. Ryan Magby, he was in her house. It appeared that he didn't remember her. That was okay, she assumed most people had forgotten her by now...or was it that she hoped? "Hey, I remember you." She said getting closer to where he was. "I'm Marisol, I went until until I took some time off about three years ago."

Ryan smiled and nodded "Yea I remember you now. Damn that was a while back, have you just came back or have you been here a while?"

[Marisol Bou]

"A week or so now." Mari said smiling. She climbed over the bleacher and took a seat next to him. She was hoping he would forget what made her leave. The way her mother literally dragged her out...such a horrible memory. "So far beside you I have only met transfers. It's ridiculous how many transferred here."

Ryan nodded "Yea alot of people, although its understandable, this is the best school to go to."

[Marisol Bou]

Mari laughed. "So how have you been?" She asked brightly. "Aside from the articles in the Daily Prophet," She added after remembering the gossip column the other day,

Ryan laughed and shook his head "You can pretty much ignore anything said about me in the prophet. The only true thing they have put in there about me is that I am engaged. I have been pretty good, and you?"

[Marisol Bou]

Mari arched her eyebrows. "That's not what others are saying around here. From what I've heard you've changed quite a bit." She said with a laugh. "Anyways, congratulations on your engagement! Who is she?" She asked curiously.

Ryan smiled "Well yea I have changed, but its not for the worse thats for sure." Ryan then smiled at her next comment "Thanks, her name is Gabby, she is a Gryffindor"

[Marisol Bou]

Mari grinned. "I bet she's nice." She said poking him in the ribs. "Have you guys made any plans yet?" She asked. She would keep asking questions for now...anything to keep the topic off of her.

Ryan laughed at her poke "Not yet, we are going to wait until after we are done with school, plus her parents arent too thrilled right now so we have to get them on our side first."

[Marisol Bou]

Mari cocked her head to the side. "Oh really? Why wouldn't they be thrilled?" She asked. "If it were my parents they would probably actually be happy for me...which is pretty rare these days. It's not like her parents can control her life anymore. You're both going to be done at Hogwarts soon. You'll be legal, free to do what you want."

Ryan nodded "True but I am 3 years older than her, although I don't know if her parents know that."
