There were way too many people outside, so Reead decided to head to the Library. There were also way too many people in there getting ready for the end of the year. She was glad to find the Room of Requirement empty.
Reed placed her hand on the cool doorknob and turned it. The doors opened to nothing but a blackhole. It was quite explainable considering Reed had yet to decide what it would be. Reed closed her eyes. When she opened them again she found the scenery the looked identical to the neighborhood school she had grown up in. The only difference here was that there were no muggles occupying it. Reed headed over to the old swingset and took a seat. She rocked back and forth a little bit before letting the wind take over.

Amberlynn was walking through the castle, in search of somewhere to just be alone really, somewhere different than where she was usually, she peeked through classrooms and normal rooms, all boring, the same, nothing different. Amberlynn let out a sigh as she climbed another set of stairs leading her to the seventh floor, she walked down it before hearing a little pop, she turned around to find a door. Amberlynn looked at it curiously before turning the door knob and entering, she should have known better not to enter just any old room but she still did it. Amberlynn let out a small gasp looking at a street in front of her, empty so it seemed.
Amberlynn walked down the road hearing a squeak of a swing she turned around to see a girl, she ran toward her slightly afraid, "Where am I..?" She whispered thinking the girl couldn't hear as she looked at her, she had never been in this room before it was all very odd for her.

Reed had been staring blankly at the empty playground before a voice made her head snap up. She looked at the girl for a moment before answering her question that was almost too soft to hear. "I take it you've never seen a muggle school before?" She made herself perk up. Reed closed her eyes and opened them to a beautiful field with a net on either end. "That's better, I suppose. Not as gray. I'm Reed. And you are?"

Amberlynn looked at the girl confused, "I am a muggle... I mean I'm muggle born but a witch..." She said confused at what she ws even saying, "What the-" Amberlynn stood there clueless as to what was going on, "Urm... where are we?" She questioned her completely lost, she ran a hand through her red hair letting a few strands fall into her face, "I'm... Amberlynn." She mumbled too confused to say anything else she stood there looking around at the field.

Reed laughed realizing the girl didn't know what the room was. "Oh, sorry. I didn't realise you didn't know about this room. It's called the Room of Requirement. Anything you want can happen right here. Close your eyes and focus on the scene you want and it will be here. If that doesn't work, try focusing on the scene and pace past the door a few times. Anyhow, this room is amazing. It can change into anything, it can be hidden or open, it can even choose who comes in." Reed said grinning. It was her favorite place to be in Hogwarts.

Amberlynn bit her lip, her eyes windeing, "That's so cool... what so right now... if I thought about my family and where I was brought up, would it appear?" Amberlynn looked at the girl smiling slightly, this room could create a whole new world for her, a world similar to home, it was a crazy idea of course, but it would help when she got homesick would it not? Amberlynn sat down on the grass, picking a few pieces of it from the ground and wrapping it around her fingers.

Reed shrugged. " You can try. I don't think it necessarily shows people." She said taking a seat on the grassy ground. Her joints were beginning to get sore but she waved it off as just another symptom. "Just focus on it really well." Reed offered.

Amberlynn smiled, "Still pretty cool." She said becoming slightly excited by what the room could do for her, "So what house are you in? I'm a Hufflepuff." She stated, twirling a few more strands of grass around her fingers. Amberlynn watched curiously as the ground started to grow daisies, it seemed that the room knew what she was thinking without her actually saying something. Amberlynn picked the daisies making small holes in the stems and weaving through another daisy, making a daisy chain.

"Gryffindor." Reed replied proudly. "My brother's in Hufflepuff, but he's a bit of a freak." She joked with a wink. She loved her brother more than anything. "What year are you?" She asked.

Amberlynn let out a laugh as she looked at Reed, "I'm a sixth year, and you?" She asked smiling, well at least she was making a new friend.

"We're both seventh years, my brother and I. But once we're out of here my mother is pushing this college at a muggle school thing. I'd really rather not.." She said with a sigh. She didn't want to have to go back to school...especially one completely different than Hogwarts. A thought forced its way into her mind and she remembered that she might not have to if the disease takes its course fast enough. Reed tugged on her sleeves self-consciously as she pushed the thought from her mind.

Amberlynn bit her lip, "Ah... well, my parents don't mind what I do, one of my big brothers is an engineer and the other a carpenter, so yeah... they don't really care, as long as I'm happy." She said running a hand through her hair as she thought of home, "I miss my family..." She mumbled quietly heaving a sigh.

Reed nodded vaguely. "I only really need my brother. It's good that he's here, too." Suddenly the room was changed and they were near a muggle neighborhood. "Was that you?" She asked not recalling thinking about her home.

Amberlynn looked around biting her lip and raising an eyebrow, "Uhh... no." she said confused as she looked around, this setting didn't seem familiar to her at all, Amberlynn ran a hand through her hair thinking of how it was back home, she closed her eyes and then opened them gasping as she saw something that looked somewhat like her house and the fields around it, "Thats my house..." She mumbled pointing at the red bricked slightly odd looking house.

Reed tilteds her head to the sdie before realizing it was in fact a house. "Wow. It looks interesting." She commented hoping it didn't sound as rude as she thought it might have, It looked much different than her wood and stone house in Maine.
