Julius smiled as he looked around the room one last time, making sure his preperations were complete. True, Julius could be a liitle brash sometimes, but tonight was all about the romance, something that Julius was very familar with as well. His eyes twinkled as he slid out of the room, and closed the door. Cassie hadn't arrived yet.

Cassie had received the mysterious owl from Julius earlier that day and she had been apprehensive the rest of the day. Getting ready had taken her ages as she had discarded outfit after outfit. She had finally settled on a shortish skirt with a silky top, it clung in all the right places, revealing her dancer's body. She had left her blond curls loose down her back and she had wrapped her emerald cloak around her to keep her warm against the chilly wind. Cassie made her way down the road until she had reached the shrieking shack. She paused, her hand on the gate, knowing that this was her only chance to turn and not come back. She took a deep breath and opened the gate and walked up the path. Pushing open the door she stepped in silently and lowered her hood.

Julius stopped his pacing as he heard the door open. He turned and saw a hooded figure enter. His hand tightened around his wand, and he was about to attack, when the figure lowered their hood and he saw that it was only Cassie. His face split into a grin of relief, and he walked over to her, taking her in his arms, and giving her a passionate kiss. He pulled away from the kiss, and leaned in close to her ear. "I'm glad you came." He whispered.

Cassie returned Julius' kiss, and smiled as he pulled back. A blush spread on her cheeks at his words. "I'm glad you're here" she whispered back, turning her head so she could look into his eyes. Cassie stepped back so she could pull her cloak off, revealing her clothes of which she hoped Julius would approve. "Will I do?" she asked softly, mischief dancing in her eyes.

Julius smiled at Cassie, and gave her an appraising look, his face fixed into a thoughtful expression. After a few seconds, he cleared his throat, and pointed at Cassie. "I guess you'll do. Not like I have much of a choice." He smiled, and burst out laughing, before taking her in his arms again. "You look absolutely beautiful hun." He whispered into her ear, while his fingers traced small figures on her back.

Cassie laughed with Julius, then fell silent as she was drawn into his arms again. "Well what I was going to say if you didn't like them was that I could always change out of them..." she suggested, her eyes a blazing emerald colour as he sent shivers down her spine.

Julius smiled, and bit his lip. The thought was extremely tempting, but he had other things on his mind. "Later hun. First, I have a surprise for you. You have to wear this before we go in though." Julius held up a blindfold, and smiled a playful smile at her. Her eyes were already emerald, which caused shivers to flow down Julius's spine.

Cassie giggled, feeling special and relaxed. She loved this Julius, this was why she had fallen in love with him. "Ok," she said, taking the blindfolf from him she quickly slipped it over her eyes and tied it on firmly so it wouldn't slip, she didn't want to ruin the surprise. "I promise I won't look" she said softly, her heart beating faster in anticipation as a smile played on her lips.

Julius waved his hand in front of Cassie's face to make sure she couldn't see anything. Satisfied, he smiled, and took her hand, leading her into the next room. He admired his preperations. A large crystal chandalier hung from the ceiling, while 100 small jars floated around, each containing a different colored fairy. A rainbow of colors floated around the room, making it look more like a disco hall than anything else. In the center of the room, a table had been laid out for dinner, with a dozen rose centerpiece in the middle. Leading away from the table was a series of rose petals that ended in the next room where a large bed was waiting. Sure, It was a little bit cheesy, and a little bit extravagent, but Cassie was worth it. Squeezing Cassie's hand, Julius smiled, and leaned in close to her ear. "You can look now." he whispered.

Slowly Cassie reached up to undo her blind fold. As she slipped it off she gasped with delight. "Oh Julius" she said breathlessly, as she took in the chandalier, the fairies, the rose petals, everything. "Oh it's perfect" she said, turning to him and kissing him on the cheek. Her eyes had lit up and her smile was dazzling at the thought of this evening.

Julius had always been a little lacking in self-confidence, so despite Cassie's smile, and kiss, he still had to ask the question. "Do you really like it hun. It's not to cheesy, is it?" Julius held onto Cassie's hand, and smiled at her.

Cassie shook her head. "I really do like it sweetie, and a little cheese is always good, but not it's perfect" she said, kissing him softly and briefly on the lips to reassure him. She squeezed his hand and smiled, "So what's for dinner?" she asked softly.

Julius lit up, elated that his plan was working to perfection. He kissed Cassie's hand, and lead her over to the table. He sat her down, before taking the seat across from her. "Well, tonight is a special night hun, and I know a few tricks up my sleeve, so what would you like for dinner hun? You can have anything you like."

"Tempting, very tempting" Cassie said with a small grin, she knew exactly what she wanted but she knew she would have to wait until later. "How about pasta?" she suggested, remembering a scene from one of the muggle movies that they called 'disney films'. It was a scene from one about dogs and they shared a big bowl of spaghetti, eating together they met in the middle for a kiss. Her best friends from college had introduced them to her and she had loved them, she grinned at the thought. "Yeah, pasta would be perfect" she repeated, reaching across the table for Julius' hand.
((don't know if you know it, but Lady and the Tramp is the film I referred to.))

Julius smiled, knowing exactly where she was going with the whole pasta thing. He remembered a scene from a movie he had seen a long time ago...................suddenly struck with inspiration he took out his wand, his eyes twinkling. First he pointed at the serving plate between them, and muttered under his breath. A large amount of spagehetti with meatballs appeared between them. Then he pointed behind him, continuing to mutter. An old fashioned record player appeared. Smiling, Julius got up, and began turned the player on. A song from the movie he had thought of began to fill the air. If his memory served him correctly, he believed the song was called "Bella Notte".......... Julius grinned, and sat back down, helping himself to some pasta. "Is this good hun?"
