Kira stood up. "Why can't team Wizards be more like.. us?!" She exclaimed picking up her broom. "I saw Joe the other day, so where he has disappeared too I don't know. Seems like they like having the recognition of being on the team but don't actually work for it."

"Once everyone's showed up, I think, Em," said Derek. He replaced the photo in his pocket, and pulled his yellow robes over his head. Anyone looking really closely could have spotted a single tear in the corner of his eye.

Gaby made her way through the crowd til she came to Professor Verity, and her family. Seeing Demetrius, she grinned as she walked over, ignoring the whispering going on around her. "Hello there!" She said as she reached them. "Mind if I join you?"

He smiled too. "Have a seat." He said moving over a bit for her to sit down. "Mum, Dad you rewizard Gabrielle?" He noted his father nod to her. His mother was trying to then switch spots with his father.

"Hello, I have to compliment you on your article. Not that I didn't like Vanessa's, hers were well done too. Though I hope this means you'll be coming back to the DP?"

"If everyone will have me" Said Gabrielle, smiling. "What about Vanessa. Does she not want to continue with it?" She looked around, catching eye contact with a first year student who quickly looked away, worried that they themselves may end up in the next article.

Derek grabbed his broom and stood in line behind Ryan, ready to walk out of the tunnel and onto the pitch. "I really hope we leather that bunch of posers," he whispered in his captain's ear. Derek didn't really have anything against Gryffindor, but their repeated Quidditch Cup victories, and the smugness that came with it, coupled with their 'good guy' self-image, as if his own house didn't exist, riled him.

"Of course we will. As for Vanessa she's going to give the advice column a go for the students. I'll continue on with any advice the teachers might want." She smiled at Gabi, and her son. He seemed to really like this young woman and Elizabeth was willing to go on that alone. "Any idea when this match will get under way?"

"Yeah people,we gotta cream those Gryffindors,if it means putting them off their brooms with bludgers"She chuckled as she patted her bludger bat with a smile."So should we go on the pitch now?"she asked the others.

"Well, that's why we're lining up," smiled Derek. He could tell that his fellow fifth year had been waiting a long time for her chance to play Quidditch. Hell, he'd been on the team since his second year, and was still excited.
