[Pandora D'Winter]

"Its a simply pitiful when one is willing to sell their soul in their youth and then regain it only when they are to old for it to be any use to them." Pandora said her eyes laughing but her face perfectly serious, "What a waste." She said with a dramatic motion with her hand and then she smiled for real "You know darling we must promise to never to be serious." It was only when they were serious that there were ever any problems between them.

[Cassie Jones]

"We must indeed, as if we are serious we lose our youth and then we regain our soul" Cassie said lightly. She didn't care if she didn't make sense. She just wanted to wind Pandora up. "So how much do tou think my soul is worth?" she asked, taking another sip of her drink.

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Who really ever really wants to know the worth of there own soul it ruins everything but oh well. You are so disgustingly good that it must be without blemish." A slow smirk spread across Pandora's lips "Oh well then you must be perfectly boring so if they want something perfectly boring and clean then I'm sure they'd pay quite a lot for it."

Cassie laughed. "You maybe be able to value sould but you can't judge them" she said casually. Then her laughter died a little at the implications of what she had just said. She picked up her glass, sipping from it occassionally. "So for your rather blemished and possibly scarred soul, it must be worth more than mine, it's antique" Cassie said flippantly.

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Its not blimished and scarred darling, its simply twisted warped and marred, and I wouldn't sell it. And did you just admit that I misjudged your soul, does that mean that you might possibly be an imperfect individual." Pandora's voice transformed half way through from teasing to mocked horror as she suggested that the perfect little ravie might not be perfect after all.

[Cassie Jones]

"I certainly did, Dahhhling" Cassie said, imitating Pandora. "Even my soul has it's dark parts, and that's as much as I will admit. It wouldn't do for me to satisfy your need for gossip" Cassie said dryly, arching one eye brow at Pandora.

[Pandora D'Winter]

"Oh darling I don't need gossip, but you do have to admit that it provides much needed entertainment." Pandora said with a smile looking over the other girl. Everyone had something that was dark about them, it was a fact that she knew well and would probably never forget. It was that part of them that made them interesting. Truly and completely good people had to be among the most boring in the entire world and it involved action on ones own part to make them truly entertaining.

"I simply cannot abide being bored." Boredom was one of the greatest evils of the world for someone like her. She had a tendency to get bored easily and then she hated every moment of her boredom and was willing to do almost anything to get out of it.

Cassie supressed a grin, she wasn't surprised that someone like Pandora could not abide being bored. "So you think I'm willing to provide entertainment?" She asked, slightly curious at just how Pandora did view her. It didn't bother Cassie, she was used to people thinking all sorts of her, she was just intrigued and it kept her mind off things.

Pandora gave a moment for a dramatic pause before she spoke. "I think...I think you are an intensely interesting person with the potential for me to actually like you." Yes shocker Pandora could like people, even people from outside her house from time to time. Though in the past most of those had been guys but there was a first time for everything.

"And if you decide not to live up to that potential you become a simple dalliance and a temporary distraction." Ok so it wasn't the nicest thing to say in the world but Pandora had never been concerned about if something was nice to say or not, except of course at formal affairs when she was required to think of such things, she just said whatever she felt like saying.

Cassie sat up a little, surprised at Pandora's answer. "So how would someone go about living up to that potential?" Cassie asked, intrigued by what Pandora was suggesting. Thoughts skittered through her mind so fast she couldn't hang on to any of them except that Pandora was offering her what she had been looking for. A chance for some mischief without actually causing heartbreak. Cassie was human after all.

"Whatever we want darling." Pandora said happily before deciding that she probably should amend the statement just a little, there were of course somethings you just didn't do nomatter what, ok unless there are extenuating circumstances. Pandora was quiet sure there were some reason to do pretty much anything.

"Well you might now want to go around getting into random duels, thats more slytherin gryffindor territory...plus I've seen you in charms. Also messing around with a friends boyfriend is wrong unless of course you were messing around with said boy before you became friends with his girlfriend." Example one her a few months before. "Oh but if something is under the category or a bet or a game anything goes."

Cassie grinned, this was exactly what she had been looking for, and Pandora seemed willing to offer it to her. She grimaced slightly at the thought of that fateful day in charms. "Ok, so I'm not great, or good." she sighed. "Ok so I'm totally hopeless at dueling. but I have always picked things up pretty quick in the past, comes with being a dancer. Anyway" she started quickly before she could get sidetracked. "I want to hear more about these best and games?" she asked sipping more of her drink, feeling a lot better than she had at the start of the evening.

"Well other then the obvious, they're slightly more long term then something thats just in the moment." Pandora said thinking back to the last truly long term thing she had been involved with, well she might as well give it as an example she just wouldn't say any of the actual names. "Like I had this one friend who liked a guy only he had a girlfriend he was disgustingly loyal to. I bet that I could mess with him actually the bet more came down to proving he wasn't as good and loyal as he pretended to be." She didn't care if it sounded a little wrong.

"Bets usually come down to that, proving someone else wrong about either yourself or someone else." Games were basically doing something and it not sounding so bad because it was all part of a game, Pandora's life was basically one long drawn out game. The thing was that the two catigories were often interchangeable.

Cassie had a sneaking suspicion she knew who was the guy and who the girls had been. She hadn't ben there all that long, but she had quickly tuned into the whispers and rumours that went flying through the corridors at the castle. "Hmmm, sounds like fun, just what I need at the moment. A diversion, something to take my mind off things? Have you got anything in mind?" Cassie asked, draining her glass and putting it back on the table. She ran her fingers through her blond hair, letting herself relax more than she had all evening, though still staying on her toes. For all she knew, what Pandora was saying to her now could be a game, only time would tell.

Pandora looked over at the other girl and then closed her eyes for a moment, what was there that was interesting to do or even better who was there that would be interesting to mess with. There was always Ryan but he would have to be a last resort, after all he was getting a little old as far as his entertainment value went. Chase wouldn't be a challenge at all, well there was always Emilian or Michael. But Michael might be a bit overboard and she wasn't sure about sending a ravie up against Emilian.

"Random Name." She said out loud while she was still thinking. Maybe they shouldn't really target a person at the moment or at least not one that would be so obvious. What she really wanted right now was a good challenge, something that would keep her interested for a while not simply something that would only last a single afternoon and maybe a couple revisitations.
