Feeling Lost (somewhat open)

[Adara Snow]

Adara walked down the streets of Hogsmeade in the general direction of the school, feeling somewhat lost. She was still torn about everything that had happened with Emilian, and she gave a silent prayer for something that might help her sort her feelings, perhaps someone she might talk to.

Ryan came out of his qudditch shop and locked it up when he saw Adara walking by. Ryan caught up with her and walked with her "Hey Adara. How have you been?"

Adara's eyes brightened. "Ryan," she said, the corners of her lips lifting into a soft smile. "I have not seen you in so long, it seems." Her smile faded at his question. "I have been...weary lately," she said. "I am sorry that I did not...trust you as I should have. You were right about Emilian."

Ryan put his hand on her shoulder "Im sorry Adara. I did what I could to try and convince you, but you were very sheltered before you came here."

[Adara Snow]

Were. That implied that he thought she had grown, or at least learned something, which of course she had. Even so, it hadn't dampened her hope. Much. "I am still learning," Adara told Ryan. "You would not believe me if I told you how much more I know now." It was mind-boggling.

Ryan smiled "Yea I would believe you. You can learn alot at a school outside of the classes, especially this school."

[Adara Snow]

"Is this school...unusual?" Adara asked, Ryan's smile putting her at ease. "I had private tutors at home before I came to Hogwarts," she explained, "so I have nothing to compare to."

[Ryan Magby]

Ryan smiled "No this school is actually pretty normal.... One thing that you get here that you can't get at home with private tutors is real life experience."

[Adara Snow]

Adara nodded, her eyes widening a bit at that comment. "It is undoubtedly true," she agreed. "I did not realize that there was so much I did not know." Her head tilted as she looked at Ryan. "Have you always been at Hogwarts?" she asked.

Ryan shook his head "No I started out in a muggle school in America. This is the only place I have been to learn magic though."

[Adara Snow]

"A Muggle school?" Adara asked, her interest peaked. "Were you sorry to leave it?"

[Ryan Magby]

Ryan smiled "Kinda, I had alot of friends their and I loved the theater department, but I love it here too so I am still happy."

[Adara Snow]

"Ooh, theater!" Adara exclaimed, delighted at the idea. "What did you do in the theater? Are you an actor?" Her dark eyes glittered with curiosity.

Ryan smiled and nodded "Yes I am. During the summer breaks I go back to America and do some shows in community theaters around my house."

Adara grinned, her entire face brightening. "What kinds of shows?" She paused, then let herself ask after all. "I have read plays, but never seen one. Would you..." She blushed lightly before going on. "Would you show me something? An entire play would be too long, I am certain, but would you?" She looked hopefully up at him from beneath ink-black lashes.
