Asking the question (Gabby, closed)

[Ryan Magby]

Ryan walked into the room of requirement. He smiled as he looked around at the beautiful night sky and the open field. He had been trying to think of something good and he hadn't been able to think of much. There was a full moon that was reflected in the lake that was at the edge of the field. Ryan smiled and sat near the lake and waited for Gabby to get his owl.

Gabby received Ryan's owl just as she left the hospital wing. After she had visited the tower to get ready she made her way slowly to the Room of Requirement. Gabby had let her soft curls tumbled down her back and she was wearing a simple skirt with a pretty top.

What she saw as she slipped into the Room of Requirement took her breath away. She just stood there for a few moments taking in the field, the lake and the full moon hanging in the sky. She sighed and closed her eyes, telling herself that it was real.

When she opened her eyes again she looked around for Ryan and saw him sitting at the edge of the lake. She smiled and made her way towards him. When she was in front of him she stopped and said. "Ryan this is beautiful, absolutely magical" Her voice was soft and gentle as she was overwhelmed with emotion.

Ryan smiled and got up and kissed her cheek "I am glad. I was afraid that it wouldn't be good enough."

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby smiled at Ryan. "Anything you do will be good enough, more than good enough for me" she replied softly and she meant every word. She sighed, "Oh It's good to be out the hospital wing."

Ryan smiled "I am glad you are out. Are you feeling better?"

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby nodded, "I am, although it's changed me" Gabby said quietly. She looked around, "This is pure bliss." She said as she conjured a soft blanket at the edge of the lake to sit on. Gabby sat down and looked at Ryan, "You're in charge" she said, suddenly overtaken by shyness.

Ryan smiled and sat down next to her and kissed her cheek as romantic music started to play throughout the air "I love you baby."

Gabby blushed, still feeling shy about everything. Ryan was older than her, so he was wiser and more experienced. "I love you too" Gabby said softly and she kissed Ryan ever so gently on the nose. She sighed as the music began to play and she lay back to gaze up at the stars that appeared in the sky.

Ryan smiled and lay back. He gazed up at the stars, trying to pick the right time to ask.

Gabby inched her hand across until she felt Ryan's and she linked their finger's together. "Everything's better with you" she whispered.

Ryan smiled and looked over at Gabby "So anything you want to do?"

Gabby rolled onto to her side so she could look at Ryan. "The beauty of being with you is that I don't have to do anything, I can just be." Gabby replied, touching his cheek gently with her fingers. "Is there anything you want to do, a swim, a walk?" Gabby asked.

Ryan smiled "I don't care what we do just as long as I am with you."

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby grinned and kissed Ryan softly. "I feel exactly the same." she replied. She rolled onto her back and looked up at the stars, letting them shine brightly. "You have a wonderful imagination" Gabby said softly. "This is absolutely perfect."

Ryan smiled "Well Im glad, I wanted this to be perfect."
